That press release is bollocks. This is not the first time since the original release. There is the 2016 reissue. And Bob Ludwig mastered the 2016 reissue as well. And I really doubt this is a double disc. Have a close look at the picture. It‘s the same labels.

I guess it‘s a simple repress of the 2016 cut on clear vinyl.

Nothing to be excited about.

Annnnd I stand corrected. You are right. So they just copy/pasta'd the 2016 press / item description. Makes more sense. So actually all bets are off.

I wouldn’t usually complain about missing out but this instance feels particularly harsh and actually quite ridiculous.  I’m in the U.K. and I’ve been sat working, surrounded by all my devices, all day.   Took 30 minutes to go for a nap after finishing work only to wake up to the news that my favourite album by my favourite band had been reissued on clear vinyl - but that I could go fuck myself because it’s already sold out.   

I doubt these comments will get read or taken seriously but there HAS to be a better way than this shitshow.  Talk about an absolute mood killer….

5000 was my guess too.  That's a healthy order if it was 5k.  My order number is 2500 less than yours at 1:07.

I think I’ll just put this money towards the $100 Miles Davis Kind of Blue PRE-ORDER that’s been open for a couple weeks to meet customer demand.

I would definitely recommend getting that Kind of Blue. It is my third and last copy and I have no regrets. The packaging is beautiful and the record sounds great, though I do prefer the mono original.

Anyway, yeah this whole random release for flippers sucks. Am I surprised? Nope.
