I'm sorry, did I miss something Fly said? I nodded off there for a minute.

What we are living through now is the parents have left the uneducated, idealistic grandkids to tend to their senile grandfather and all he knows to do is hand out $2(billion) bills to try to make them happy.
We are in a whole lot of trouble.
War in the Middle East
Gas shortages (temporary hopefully) and prices through the roof (does Biden even know what a computer is let along a cyber security issue?)
Employment stagnating
Inflation creeping in (soon to be a deluge)
It took less than 4 months. Wtf. Where are the adults in the room?
Oh, I long for the day when we were wringing our hands over some "bad" words some "big orange boogey man" said on Twitter.Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.0 -
You probably believe all this, that's the trouble.EdsonNascimento said:What we are living through now is the parents have left the uneducated, idealistic grandkids to tend to their senile grandfather and all he knows to do is hand out $2(billion) bills to try to make them happy.

1. Was there peace between Israel and Palestine that I missed before?
2. It's obviously short term, as a private company suffered a ransomware attack. Do you think Trump prevented ransomware for four years? Second, OPEC cut production last year and only recently agreed to raise it with hikes in May, June and July. We are also changing the seasonal blend so gas always rises in teh spring. OPEC wants oil at about 60 per barrel and that's where they have been.
3. There was one bad report. That doesn't make a trend. How you feeling about the GDP actuals and forecast? Pretty good, eh?
4. Short term inflation was expected because the supply chains are not fully back online. I do think inflation is a risk and am an advocate for raising rates a quarter point.
What are your counters to these?0 -
Lol...was just coming here to say my Trumplican "friends" on facebook are freaking out about the world ending and how it's Biden's fault.
Also--I thought Jared Kushner solved the Middle East problem? No?

I wonder if these people think that the federal gov't should overtake the petroleum distro chains in the US, from the private companies that control them today. One 'friend' on FB was wailing that "we the people warned them to secure the grid". They clearly don't know what a grid is, or a private company. The Juggler said:Lol...was just coming here to say my Trumplican "friends" on facebook are freaking out about the world ending and how it's Biden's fault.

What exactly is going on with this colonial pipeline and gas? Seems like it's causing a shortage in the south. How does a pipeline get hacked?

idiotic. Jen Psaki has been a breath of fresh air at that podium. she gives excellent info, gets back to reporters, like ACTUALLY gets back to them if she doesn't know the answer, and gives them more than enough time to speak, even fucking newsmax.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Ransomware... happens all the time with medium to large businesses. Right now they have shut down the supply chain for safety sake until they know the systems are secure.Ledbetterman10 said:What exactly is going on with this colonial pipeline and gas? so kamala harris' dating history is relevan, how? because she's a woman in power, and that's the go-to for right wingers to use to criticize?
pathetic.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
Oh no! The audacity of her to date a talk show host back in 2001. You should just create a culture wars thread so you can post this there.gvn2fly1421 said:
