My brother doesn't like the show because it doesn't feel like the delco we grew up in. Ha.

I liked this week's episode the least. Still good. But my only beef is with how they completely glossed over how Mare managed to plant the drugs on her grandkid's mom. She obviously had another cop in on it, right? Why not show how that came about? The timing of all that seemed to work out too perfectly for my liking. Also, I think Mare is too smart to know she wouldn't have gotten away with it.

The Zabel character is really likeable. Good episode for that shifty dude.

I don’t know what the hell happened tonight, but yo Mare is a good show.
Haha, that's why I said this. I saw the episode, but there's quite a lot going on!

I think the biggest problem I now have with this show is the Delco connection lol. Because, like I said before, I get caught up looking for authenticity in dumb stuff that I forget that this is a good show with what I'm sure is a wild story. What I'm saying is somebody's gotta give me a show just about dumb, daily Delco life, haha....
I'd say watching the 3rd episode I wasn't even thinking about landmarks and the fact that Phoenixville is actually in Montgomery County and the upper class township of Easttown is in Chester County and why didn't they go get gas at Wawa - I was just wrapped up in the story. Which is a good indicator of how good the story is!  "Yo Mare" would've been a better title.

I like the girl at the Haverford College radio station - hoping we actually get to see The Met in the show. Only problem with The Met is walking up those stairs you need 10 minutes to recover before the show starts. And I run up & down hills in Havertown all the time! Damn I can't wait for concerts.
    Phoenixville is Chester County

Apparently after she left the bar and was intoxicated in a state to make stupid decisions and desperate not to lose Drew - I think that's the complexity of the character - so intelligent but also so severely flawed.

Agreed on Zabel. I think he has the best accent of them all, actually.

The priest they have pegged - along with giving up some details in the preview for next week's episode - isn't the guy right? It's a red herring right, just way too obvious? Gonna guess the cousin/head priest dude is more connected to something here.

Also, my gut guess that I said to my wife is that Erin's husband has something to do with it.

Also, agree with your brother, Juggs - but I think the showrunner is doing that on purpose so that the show is more palatable to non-Delconians. Plus, the showrunner is from Berwyn, so I'd say his vision of Delco is vastly different. But I'd also buy that "Delco" is a way of saying Anytown-Just-Outside-of-Philadelphia.

    Agree on the cousin-priesr guy.
I thought the priest was an obvious guy right off (being raised as a Catholic! Lol) but yes, too early to have him be the guy unless it is gonna get really wierd.
Zabel hammered was good, made me laugh
Also, Jean Smart is so reliable.  Love her crazy mom character.

Daughter knows way more than she is letting on, I think she is going to be key

Also, my wife said "someone else does that stupid shit!" when the crack was made about her ex pissing in the closet or drawer or wherever when he was carried back from the bar.
Over the 20+ years we have been together there may have been a number of times where I may have stumbled around/pissed in phantom toilets. .

Yeah I agree that something is up with the daughter. It seems odd that she doesn't seem to care much about this case with her being the last person to see her alive. She's really the one character I do not like very much also.

You just gave me flashbacks to college and pissing in my closet, while blacked out, on numerous occasions. The college girlfriend was not pleased each time (somehow she was always there when it happened). The beginning of the "do you even remember what you did last night" conversations was always the worst since I always had no recollection. Lol.  Kudo's to your wife for sticking around!

First time I saw that was in high school....a buddy did it after a party in a room where many of us were crashed out.  Man, that guy got so much grief about it but it was damn funny

Cozi tv basically plays all old shows that aired between 1950 & 1990.

No I can’t find it on YouTube tv. Both Comcast channels had the sixers and flyers games instead 😕

2nd time this week 76ers, Flyers & Phillies won on the same day. Last time before that was in... 2012.

Guess five years of 76ers tanking would have that effect.

I LIKE this version of Corduroy.
I like that he rocked and also that Ed used an alternate version with another band.

Best part about this being shown was that at least one of the "Positive Peter Pullers" getting so bent out of shape at a few of us realists on the SHN/Ohana threads for not just blindly saying Pearl Jam needs to play if the states will allow the festivals to go posted negative stuff about the GC EV songs.

Makes me laugh when people show their true colors.

The rule sucks but it’d be a little more tolerable if the runner started on 1st rather than second. Then at least a double play is in play for the defense, and it’d take an extra base hit to score for the offense.

Yeah I think that was Josh Klinghoffer out there with him on lead (RHCP, was going to open for them). I loved that they went fast the whole time and kept it relatively obscure.

Additionally, I think the only way these shows don't happen are because PJ doesn't want to, which I don’t believe will be the case. Otherwise, states/govts/etc are hellbent on diving right back into an old way of life like asap. With that said, I look forward to watching PJ on the beach.
