    All-dressed FTW!!

I think there’s some socialist program in Canada that puts its stoners to work at state-sponsored potato chip factories.

What.....what is it? Fried asparagus? And from where?

Whatever it is it's definitely greased lightning right through me.

Leave it to the eye-talians to make sure asparagus clogs the arteries. Villa di Roma in The Irishman is inaccurate.

I couldn't take the movie seriously after that. Use Ralph's or Dante & Luigi's if you want something mildly done up.

Then DeNiro beats up a guy moving like a 98 year old...

    Turrible

How do you not pinch hit for Chase Fucking Anderson in that situation last night? They won comfortably, but still.

Girardi makes quite a few bone headed decisions. I guess I just wasn't paying close enough attention last year.

    Cliff, that looks tasty.

My hot take - Gabe got a raw deal, and Girardi is just fine. As Gabe would've been.

Sounds about right. I don't think that's too hot. Giants look pretty good.

Yeah it's not too hot, but I don't really give any manager the overwhelming credit for the overall success of a team. I mean the move was made to seemingly appease meathead Harper, which is fine. But I don't have this animosity for Kapler, I hope he does well. I wouldn't get in a fistfight with someone at a ballgame, but a couple years ago when he had Hoskins leading off I didn't have a huge issue with it and had to tell the idiot in front of me that wouldn't shut up about it to pound sand.

It's kinda like when people would bitch about Charlie, which I never got. Of all people I agreed with Ike Reese's logic on that back in the day. You can't give Charlies all the credit for losses and none of the credit for the wins, doesn't work that way. We'll ignore that Ike doesn't believe dinosaurs existed.

Yeah I agree. I just know a lot of people who despised Kapler and ripped him over every single mistake he made, even the minor ones. Yet they say nothing about these mistakes Joe makes pretty regularly.

One buddy literally posted on facebook that Gabe should be fired after he took Nola out early in his FIRST game a few years ago.

Ike doesn't believe dinosaurs existed, huh? That sounds about right, too. lol

A total tool who sunbathed his nutsack to give himself the power of the sun, like his balls made him Superman.
Didn't watch him closely as a manager so I cannot comment on that part but as a person he is a fucking whacko.

Hell yeah - could do without KOL, or at least swapping with MMJ. On my birthday weekend, too, damnit. But, yeah, I think shows are happening now. We're ramping up to warp speed.

So I look forward to a shore house in B-E-L-M-A-R bel-MAR bel-MAr and the fest in Asbury Park. Getting pumped now.

Bummed because my CEO has a place w/in walking distance that I stay at when I am out there and I could crash for free & walk to-from the shows....but I am not concert-ing until the rest of my life is at full speed and as "post-covid" as I can get, and I just don't see that being the case by September.  Hope to hell that I am wrong & could always scramble and over-pay at that point to go out and hit it up.

Are you vaccinated? If so, I don't see any reason to not go. Going to a concert you would normally go to would be a step in getting your life back to full-speed. I guess it's something to think about. Here's how I envision you thinking it over....

Pretty sure his wife is immunocompromised but I don't want to speak for others. Also, I would think a return to "normalcy" will be determinate to each individual person. I think a lot of people overlook that spending the better part of over a year in a stasis that none of us are used to, and being in some form of a lockdown, lends itself to trauma.
