I have to to be thankful to the prosecution for fornomcal job they did in prosecuting this case. I missed the verdict being reading in that I was still locked out of the house. I'm in now and catching up on the events leading up to where we're now.
I would like to know down the road was difficult for the jury in reaching the right verdict. I hope police will be more accountable for their actions going forward.
GUILTY, just had to say that word.

i cried and i had nothing to do with any of it. it was just cathartic.
i am stunned in a good way.
hopefully they throw him under the jail and build another one on top of it.
the prosecution did a great job. and this had to be agonizing for the jury.
hopefully the family gets some peace and hopefully minnesota can begin to heal."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

I'm so thankful for the Floyd family, for our black brothers and sisters, for our country that Chauvin was found guilty. Miles to go yet a big step in the right direction0

it just strikes me as so incredible that a seemingly simple act, holding someone accountable for their actions, is met with such surprise and delight by one community. and shock by another.
I just can't imagine being black in america, and having to endure the rollercoaster of having to be ELATED that a white man was actually brought to justice for killing one of their brothers.
it should just be normal. like the feeling i get when I see that an obvious murder goes punished. Just a "good" and I move on.
But it's not. They can't move on. they know it's going to happen again. Other cops are going to get away with it because no one was there to film it. Thank fuck for technology that black america is finally getting justice. Fucked up that it takes video evidence to do it. (and sometimes even that's not enough).
That's seriously enraging that the judicial system is so fucked up that it is an anomaly that a white man, a white man in UNIFORM, a man sworn to protect the man he killed, is held accountable for hurting a black person.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0 -

Could’ve been worded a little better but I don’t see the issue.0
