I dont see how late summer or fall can't happen. Vaccines rolling out smoothly in my state. Its only getting easier. Plus even the bluest of blue states have realized things have to be back to operational by End of July. Not everyone will want to attend but my body is ready.0

I’m very hopeful that Ohana will happen and there will not be quarantine requirements, even if there are capacity limits or similar.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

For the folks that think 2023.... I guess I just have a very hard time seeing how it is going to take 2 years to get from 25% capacity at indoor sporting events to full capacity concerts
We are only 11 months into this and look at how far we have come
There will be a small percentage of people who choose to stay locked down at home for years until every last variant is tracked down and identified and what not, and that is completely fine and up to them to do so. However, as the vaccine rollout continues, society will open back up this summer/fall for the rest of us as cases and deaths will continue to drop, even in the bluest of blue states as stated above.
I'm not going to argue that the band wont play in 2021. But I would bet every one of my chips that 1 year from now, February 2022, I am sitting at my computer booking hotels and flights for the US Tour that will start a few weeks later.Post edited by Weston1283 on2010: Cleveland

I feel like there's a few different scenarios:
1) If Vaccine roll out speeds up and everything goes off without a hitch, the end of this year could be doable. The problem is the slightest hiccup could delay everything and cause things to get rescheduled. The odds of planning for mega best case scenario are slim... so I'm guessing this doesn't happen. I would call this the super mega happy ending.
2) If we get to a place where Vaccine's are rolled out (and working) by the end of the year) then 2022 would seem reasonable to have confidence to start relaunching larger events in 2022 (sports, concerts etc...). I would call this, the "probably going to happen" scenario
3) Not so great scenario. Variants spread that the vaccine's don't work on, effectively making it like the population isn't vaccinated. Could delay things another year or two... sigh.
It's all kind of a tossup at this point. I think the Superbowl was a bit if a misnomer. It was a giant venue, and a fair percentage of the attendees were workers who were vaccinated (against the strain most widely circulating in the US). I think for the most part everything sits on standby until we see the thing stops spreading rapidly.
There's also the psychological impact. Start things too early and a large portion of people might not be comfortable going into packed megabuildings. It could impact the ability to sell tickets.
I hope it ends up being #1 or #2. If we ended up with a variant that's resistant to current vaccines, I'm going to be sad.

My 2 cents based on nothing but my gut. While things are opening up, there still seem to be many unknowns (new strains, how vaccines numbers will play a role in mass gatherings). Things are literally changing every week with new info. Some of it's good news, some of it not so good. It would not surprise me if Pearl Jam waits until 2022. They place fan safety above literally everything else. So I assume they will be much more on the cautious side. I totally could be wrong, but it feels more in their nature to wait to be more certain on what to expect rather than be on the forerunners of trying to have shows. So if summer happens with some shows and things start to get ironed out on best practices, etc, they would start ramping up a plan in fall so they can hit the road in early 2022.Tinley Park, IL 08-02-1992

2023 is one guys opinion. There are thousands who say 2022, including the music industry. I'll go with that one0

Story in today’s Philly Inquirer said they expect smaller indie shows outside this summer but that large arena or stadium shows will most likely be 2022. The Weeknd put tickets on sale for early 2022 tour after his Super Bowl appearance. It also said they expect Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Bieber to be doing stadiums and arenas in 2022. Highly doubt Pearl Jam jumps ahead of that timeline I go by the assumption it will be 2022 near the same dates that 2020 should have been.

Spring 2022 is the more realistic scenario, but the tortured optimist in me keeps hoping for Fall 2021.Post edited by JeBurkhardt on0

Boston Calling Festival (Memorial Day weekend) cancelled again for 2021. Thought they might try to shift to fall, maybe Labor Day but just outright cancelled for 2nd year in a row. This weekend we rock Portland0

I'm pretty sure Boston Calling was hopeful to have the same 3 headliners this year as got scrapped last year. Rage's current tour itinerary kicks off June 3 (good luck with that), so they were likely on a hold for Saturday May 29 in Boston.
But I'm glad I took the refund last year..This weekend we rock Portland0 -
