Lock it down.
We are about to swan dive off a cliff into a sea of our freedoms and we will drown there in our hubris.
The economic ramifications of shutdowns aren't going to be any worse than the economic ramifications of skyrocketing death and serious tolls.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

Shame people are so stupid. I haven't locked myself in my home since March. I worked in the office until August when I got a new position and now work from home. Regardless, I've been to stores, visited National Parks in the summer and take walks/hikes frequently. I wear a mask around others and honestly I can count on one hand how many times I've been in close contact with someone else who was not wearing a mask since March. I'm baffled how 150,000 Americans are becoming infected daily, it's not that hard to keep your distance and act responsibly. I don't support a 'Lockdown" because at that point you are unfairly punishing the people who have acted responsibly for 8 plus months. Not to mention the harm to the economy, small business in particular. Unless we get a legit stimulus which seems far fetched at this point. I intend on spending Thanksgiving week at Death Valley, exploring nature while socially distancing and living my life. If the government wants to step in and tell me I can't and that's being irresponsible than fuck them at this point. Go talk to the people having mass gatherings and the rest of the oblivious fucks.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

I'm sick to death of the "fuck your feelings" crowd whining about masks, about freedom, about their guns and their President being unseated.
Fuck your feelings, fuck your bullshit excuses, fuck you.
Put a fucking mask on and quit living like there's no pandemic.
Our county is about to be the worst in Ohio and I'll tell you from experience, if you think Trumpism isn't part of the cause, you don't know your head from your ass. Get out of your bubble and see what kind of raving lunatic morons populate "middle America".

central missouri may be doing the same. this will not hurt me as i do not cover central of western mo anymore, but if western and southern il shuts down electives i could be screwed.
shit is bleak right now.
i call on this hospital system. i am probably hosed for hitting my quota now. god damn it.
in all honesty, they should have bagged these cases and shut down electives before halloween."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

They can now do 32K+ tests a day. Other sites close at 4pm.But I'm sure there is merit in your guess that their excitement to drive their car in the parking lot of DODGER STADIUM!! has overridden any common sense about going to a testing site with shorter lines. /s0
