This is a cancellation and a new tour announcement.  It is over one year out.  No fucking refunds at this time?  Call it what it is and cancel it.  Jesus this is a fucking embarrassment 10C.
My first thought was there should be refunds but as someone said set the new dates first then individuals can better decide if they want a refund or keep the tickets
Nah, not 15 months out.  Wipe it clean.  Full reset.  Waiting until December for new dates is a joke.
December would be but what if its next month or at least before the original dates?
They still don't have NA Fall dates out yet.  I wouldn't hold your breath.

I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt on the refunds and think they will offer them once they have a process worked out with all the ticket agencies.  They were probably working on that at pace and caught off guard by BST announcing this week which forced an announcement.

Assuming that’s true I’m glad they’re calling it a postponement so people who want to can still use the tickets they were able to get.  I wouldn’t want to have to start again.  It’s not their fault there’s a pandemic and with the nature of a Euro tour there probably weren’t sooner reasonable choices than 6/7-21.

Many airlines and hotels only book 12 months into the future.  If anyone know of any exceptions please share.

I assume “refunds are not being offered at this time” would be better phrased as “refund details are not available at this time but will be provided shortly”.  If they are actually not offering refunds that would be shocking.  Many people will be happy to use the tickets in the future, but not everyone.

Yes, but you can get a 24 month credit possibly.

Praying for this to be the option for my trip. I have $4400 tied up in flights right now. Not holding my breath.

I had to wait for the day before my departure this spring for this option with Air Canada. I hope it will still be in place by the summer.

Thanks to Tenclub for giving us something to be exited:
New dates for Europe in 2021 (even if they are not fixed, but time frame June/July).
Glad I can keep the tickets; I hope they create the new tour in the same sequence as in 2020.
I have no booked flights, this makes it easier for me, of course.
These shows will be EPIC after all this!

I am sure that once the new dates are available, a refund option will be offered as well for people who can not go or are not willing to. I am also sure that they are working as hard as they can to schedule new dates as soon as possible. These are unprecedented times, so please give them a break and be a bit patient.

One thing that is a bit confusing though is that in PJ’s BST Hyde Park announcement, it was said that they “are working closely with event organizers on our possible 2021 return.” I am hopeful that PJ will therefore return next year, but I hope we will also get clarity on whether people can hold their tickets if they want to. That would be my preference.

Let’s hope for a choice either to keep the tickets or a refund. Best of both

Having gone through this once already, just relax and revisit the airline policy in late June. I'm keeping my hotel in case I can't rebook the air and would hope the museums and DLP is open if planes are flying!

They gave the 24 months when they cancelled the flight.  Well played by you to outwait them.

LOL, no refunds and no new dates?

How are we supposed to navigate cancelling our current reservations without being able to tell the airlines when we wanna reschedule?

Am I really supposed to sit here all day on hold to beg for a refund now or keep the flights until they reschedule?

    This is a fucking nightmare.

No refunds at this time. Ticket agencies up and down the line aren't allowing refunds until later. No  airline is going to give you grief over rescheduling right now.
A "Fucking Nightmare?" ...a nightmare is 1000's dying who didn't have to from a spreading virus...not your 'First world problem'....chill out.
  • I know its a rare commodity around here these days but how about a little perspective. Ive got tickets booked for this euro tour but right now im thankful that i am home safe and so is my family. I speak to a nurse friend all the time about how fucked it is out there and a little inconvenience for a concert not happening is absolutely bottom of my worries right now. As it should be for all of you.

You know the band will do the right thing with tickets and refunds. And if they dont then we have something to look forward to in 2021.

    Peace x

Keep it in check. The true nightmare are the people who are dying because they can't get ventilators. Trying to book a flight for something over a year away is small potatoes.

I’ll gladly be keeping my tickets for the 6 shows we got them for, no bun fight and draw anxieties for next year, knowing that we already have them for the rescheduled gigs  =)

Most od airliines in Europe operate in summer / winter system. As of now you could probably buy tickets for up to March or April 2021

With regular tickets not everything is up to the band. Germany/European Union (not sure right now) are working on a scheme to only give out vouchers instead of refunds to help the ticket companies. So a definitive decision may be up to politicians. The band may well be able to refund later or set up a F2F sale

As regards refunds just to note - Polish government passed a law enabling the concerts companies to make refunds within 180 days or offer coupons / vouchers  I think it may be a problem to find a similar solutions for all countries. As they said the are working locally...

Yes it’s more complicated than in NA. Please consider this before immediately going off at the band. They’ll do us right.
Personally I‘m happy to hold on to my tickets
