I would say that’s pretty misleading. They are basing those conclusions on a very small sample of those who died, who by definition had a more severe form of disease. yes, the article does mention that most people infected now have a milder form of the virus. But there is still so much to learn, I wouldn't call it "misleading". he is stating a fact of the autopsies they have performed.

I read the article and the paper they mention is based on autopsy findings from a single patient. There is no mention in the article if this patient had any pre-existing lung condition or other health issues.
