My experience so far is that the secondary market is too tempting for anyone , fan club members included, to resist unfortunately. It’s one of the most cut throat situations I’ve seen. Stickmanhockey can attest to that. Luckily this will only be for the MSG shows. But I’m very close to going with stubhub. Msg face value seems like an impossibility at this point. I sincerely hope I have better luck if there is a fall tour. Good luck to everyone in other markets! Hope everyone scores.Camden 2 2006, Newark 2010, Barclays 2 2013, Central Park 2015, MSG 2 2016, Wrigley 1 2016, Rome 2018, Prague 2018, Asbury Park 2021, EV & Earthlings NYC 1 2022, MSG 2022, Louisville 2022, Dublin 2024, MSG 1 2024, MSG 2 20240

Why would someone trying to sell for face pay fees to do so through stubhub if they had the f2f option as an alternative?

The f2f exchange hasn't opened yet. It may very well prove to be an impossibility, but why declare it to be one before even trying it?0 -

Why would someone trying to sell for face pay fees to do so through stubhub if they had the f2f option as an alternative? If they do set it up, my guess is that the number of people who 1) are committed to selling for face rather than market price, 2) know about the F2F exchange, 3) care enough about not making the buyer incur StubHub fees that they’d bother to figure out how to use the exchange and 4) wouldn’t just sell to a friend or through the forum will be exceedingly small.I understand why people who are desperate for MSG tickets and don’t want to pay on StubHub are hoping that this exchange will solve their problems. But I really don’t think it will, if it exists at all.Camden 2 2006, Newark 2010, Barclays 2 2013, Central Park 2015, MSG 2 2016, Wrigley 1 2016, Rome 2018, Prague 2018, Asbury Park 2021, EV & Earthlings NYC 1 2022, MSG 2022, Louisville 2022, Dublin 2024, MSG 1 2024, MSG 2 20240 -
If the people willing to pay thousands for MSG just save it for a few months they can probably see 3-4 shows for the price of 1 MSG ticket.

it means people are free to pay what they want but don't complain about the price if you choose to spend it0

Will this be available for other shows or just PJ?0

We still don’t have the most important piece of info: what time will these exchanges be going live?Camden 2 2006, Newark 2010, Barclays 2 2013, Central Park 2015, MSG 2 2016, Wrigley 1 2016, Rome 2018, Prague 2018, Asbury Park 2021, EV & Earthlings NYC 1 2022, MSG 2022, Louisville 2022, Dublin 2024, MSG 1 2024, MSG 2 20240

I have not been able to find this-- is there a special site or subsite where you should buy tickets on the exchange ? Or would you buy them just like any other TM ticket?0

Jason7192 said:I'd bet that the fan-to-fan ticket exchange for PJ is going to work very similar to the ticket exchange they already have set up for NBA, NHL, etc. No need for them to completely reinvent the wheel & design a totally different platform.
Since they (Ticketmaster) already know what we paid for the tix, it would be pretty easy for them to just modify their existing platform to cap the sale amount at the amount originally paid instead of allowing the seller to choose the amount.
