    A's game sounds fun

    We were thinking about hitting 420 day on Monday and then heading up to Napa Valley on Tues.  Probably screw around in SF for a day and then fly to Vegas to get my fix.....could drive to Vegas but it looks like flights are like $50

    I agree on the wineries, though Livermore actually has a few good ones and is kind of closer for those from out of town staying in Oakland.
    (And you have a very trippy show history, seeing them at BSB in '94 and then not again until a couple years ago! Probably the longest gap for anyone on this forum...;)

    There’s a ton on dry creek road but my favorites are Amista, comstock, Wilson. There’s an old school market across the street from amista and we always stop there for sandwiches and start our day with a picnic at Amista.

    if you like beer there’s the bear republic brewery in Healdsburg (such a cute town!).  Worth checking that out as well.  There’s also Lagunitas in Petaluma.  Both places have restaurants. On the weekends Lagunitas has live music.

    Saturday record store day We’re gonna start the early aftenoon on telegraph in Berkeley (both amoeba and rasputin there) they head up telegraph towards Oakland with a stop at Temescal Brewing for a beer, then depending if i have seats or not dinner at Drakes dealership, then show!

    sunday well be at the coliseum all day tailgating, As game then show.  Hope to meet some of you!

    Drakes dealership...that is a great call! I live through the tunnel but love Drakes, that would be a great pre-show meetup spot, just a few blocks from 19th Street Bart, then down to the arena...

    That weekend is right after my wife's birthday.  A PJ concert is my idea of an awesome birthday...but not so much my wife's.  Probably going to book Hamilton tickets for Sat day, then hit the show that night.

    So debating whether to stay in SF vs. Oakland. Oakland is cheaper, but there’s more I’d like to see in SF. I assume public transit runs regularly between the two? What’s everyone else thinking?

    I reserved a non-refundable room at the Radisson near the airport.  Looks like there are going to be several of us there.  

    If I had to do it over again I would stay in the Downtown Oakland area.  Nice and close to the BART system that can take you into San Fran

    Hey Oakland I'll be seeing you guys in April! I only put in for OAK reserved and just got my notification. I'm in the process of relocating to San Jose so any local tips on best way to get to the show from there would be much appreciated.
