This Iran nonsense is a gift to Joe Biden. Those Obama voters who voted Trump will appreciate his steady leadership over this impulsive fuck who may have started ww3....
I think it could boost him in the primary, but I wouldn't be so sure about the general election. A lot of that depends on where this all goes in the near term.
See I think it plays better in a general than in a primary....
I think if the blowback is fierce or we wind up putting a lot of boots on the ground, it's bad for Trump. If they only hit military targets in the Middle East, I think voters can be swayed that he's tough on terrorists.

I also feel the need to say my opinions on this whole Iran thing are much broader, but I'm trying to stay on topic to the Presidential election. There's so, so much more at stake beyond that.

Bernie would go full freak out mode on Trump in a debate. A part of me wants a Bernie/Trump debate. We need someone who can out shit talk Trump, I feel Biden has lost his edge on talking shit, lol. IDK

Hillary owned Donnie in '16 all three times and what good did that do her?
I really don't agree with that perspective. Yes, the Democrat consensus seemed to be that Clinton debated better, but Trump regularly got her to stop talking mid-phrase by making an outrageous and embellished soundbite, which then lived on in the media far longer than anything pragmatic Clinton said. I'd hardly call that being "owned".
Especially after she tucked her tail and kept quiet when he did his "because you'd be in jail" one-liner. That was an opportunity to go at him hard. "No, Donald. YOU should be in jail. You don't pay your taxes, you don't pay your workers, and you've been accused of sexual assault multiple times!"

Okay maybe she's not the right person to reference someone else's sexual assaults. But you get the point. She just stood there with a smirk as if to imply "Whatever, Donald. I just have to be here at this debate as a formality. In a few months, I'll be President and nobody will care about your stupid one-liners."

She played by the old rules where you act with respect. When donnie brought all of Bill's ex GFs to the debate, that should have been a wakeup call to Hilary that the game has changed.

For example, when he stalked her behind her back, she could have turned around  and said " what the eff is wrong with you? Has it been too long since you walked into a lockeroon of naked 15 year old girls?"

intellectually and high-ground-ingly she did, yes. but in terms of childishness and schoolyard mockery, which seemed to resonate with 65 million people, no.

I honestly think that so many of these people just couldn't wait for some clown to come by and stop making them feel stupid because he's one of them.

Yeah I think the majority of Americans agreed Hillary won those debates.

Yup. I think I’d like her as a person, but not my president.  But she’s better than Bernie.
