My son was born a month ago yesterday. About two weeks ago, we started listening to an album a day in our record room, which he loves. Yesterday, we listened to My Morning Jacket's album, Z. It's been awhile. I forgot how much of a masterpiece it really is.

Who records are like Stones.. there are a million and it's hard to figure out what you have.  Is this a UK Decca?

I found this at a new local Record Store that just opened.  It was an OP.  I would not suggest buying it.  It's thin and hot.  I can see why TP re-released as a new pressing a few years ago.  I imagine the new one is much better, judging by how excellent all the new TPs are.

The cat came into the room, took a gnarly shit, and ended my listening session after two songs.

Up until then, it sounded perfect.

Love this album. Need to relocate the litter box.

Hey do you have any of the analog production versions of the Doors records? I have all the originals but tempted to go AP.

I have them all, I'm  a big Doors fan. The AP sound really good, but I don't find any Doors bad..lol

If you're a Steve Hoffman guy, you need to seek out the DCC. They sound exceptional.
    LPZ-2046 - The Doors
    LPZ-2045 - Strange Days
    LPZ-2050 - L.A. Woman
LPZ-2049 - Waiting For The Sun
He didn't do The Soft Parade or Morrison Hotel, not sure why, don't know the story.

Ears are different, rigs are different... but they do sound very good. I would have to go back and do some A/B of them to give you a better synopsis. And yes they are pricy, Hoffmanites drive up the price on just about all his stuff. lol

And RIP to Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter who died recently.  For those that don't know, he wrote classics like Dark Star, Ripple, Truckin' Operator, China Cat, St. Stephen, and more.
