not sure what I'm listening to. Good and interesting
@brianlux knows.  Quicksilver was a good ole hippie psych band from SF that were part of the Dead, Janis, era.

Great band!  They played at my sisters graduation party.  Sadly, they were the only band that played at our high school that by buddies and I on stage crew didn't get to do the lighting for (Quicksilver brought their own lighting crew who, undoubtedly, had a better set up than we had access to, so I kind of get it).
Another interesting thing about this band: the lead guitarist, John Cipollina later started a "super group" with other well know Bay Area musicians including Barry Melton from Country Joe and the Fish and called themselves "Dinosaurs".  When J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph started up a band, they called themselves Dinosaur.  But Barry Melton had became a lawyer and sued Mascis and company for using the name "Dinosaur".   So  J, Lou, and Murph somewhat begrudgingly added the "Jr" to their name to settle the issue.  Much as I like all those old great Bay Area musicians, in my opinion, Dinosaur Jr. is a much better band. But the change in name did open the doors for the absolutely hilarious accusation by the Creationist museum to deny the existence of Dinosaur Jr.

I'm surprised that I haven't seen chatter about this from our jazz friends.  This record was released long ago and very poorly, under the name Miles 1958.  It is essentially the precursor to Kind of Blue, with the same band of Coltrane, Adderley, Evans, Cobb and Chambers.  It is more free flowing than Kind of Blue, but the style is very similar.  Anyway, Chad Kassem from Analog Productions (who is the greatest man in vinyl today and probably for the past decade) got his hands on the original three-track tapes from the first session and put it through the classic AP process.  AAA, limited stamping, Stoughton jacket, QRP press, etc.  And it is glorious.  It is crystal clear and purely analog sounding.  Is it as good as an AP Kind of Blue?  No, not really but that is otherworldly.  This is A+ work though and highly recommended.  Definitely a great complement to your jazz collection. You can get it on Amazon I believe, or right from Acoustic Sounds.

    Interesting^^

    Been said before...

lovely oddball sickly soundtrack. Makes me nauseous and smile simultaneously. Surely the intention.
So nice and really a must listen for any primus fan. Of course with an open mind, a few listens before you give up...you will understand.

Difficult for the earballs to digest at first.

    Put this on..
Scare your friends and neighbors. Excite the creatures in the forest and welcome the local lunatics. Handle with care

    I will go away now

Anthrax Greater of Two Evils-they re-recorded a bunch of their Belladona-era tunes with John Bush, so it's not available digitally anywhere, so I had to buy it to hear it.
