    Nothing at the moment as the wife accidentally (?) knocked a kettlebell off the glass faceplate of my vintage receiver.


    Luckily there's a local glass shop and I sent the guy the pics and he said there'd be no problem making a custom piece of glass to replace it with. 
    But I was gutted when she first told me.

    I feel your pain.  About 5 years ago, My wife left my Fisher 500 C "on" unattended for about 3 weeks.  It never worked properly after that, and was subsequently sold for halfway decent money.    It still stings though.

    There are usually at least one in every store.  The originals sound good,  but if you can swing a reissue,  it is far superior.

    Thanks. There are four record stores that I can walk to from my apartment. I have been sticking with those and haven’t seen it much. But I am sure it will turn up at some point. Once the pandemic dies down a bit I will scope out other stores that I need the subway for.
