You couldn't write the timing of all this into a movie script if you tried.
If he's guilty, lock him up (but as pjhawks asked, why didn't she go to police? even if the allegations are true the fact that she is looking for a civil settlement rather than criminal charges will raise eyebrows).
All through this past month all the stuff said about him was that he was crazy, a possible team cancer but at least not an domestic abuser or worse...well maybe not so much now.

Easier said than done. Imagine being the accuser in these situations. We've all seen what happens to women who come forward against powerful men. A lot of times the only justice they can attain is monetary.

Yes, although if the allegations in the 3rd incident are as she described (forcible penetration), evidence from a rape kit would likely be pretty convincing

  • I think this is gonna ruin him. Not from a legality or financial standpoint. Maybe not from a league or Patriots discipline standpoint either. But every social media post he makes, there will be comments that he’s a rapist. Every opposing stadium, the fans will scream that he’s a rapist. Think of how often it’s mentioned in reference to Roethlisberger. And he was at least kinda likable prior to his allegations. But he’s been a loathed pariah ever since. Brown’s already the biggest prick in the league by a mile. And now this? Business won’t be boomin’ much longer.

And at least Roethlisberger has had the good sense to avoid social media and other outlets that will only cause him headaches since his allegations. Brown’s addicted to the attention he gets on social media. And if he’s so thin-skinned that a fan praising Juju on Twitter can set him off, wait till he’s call a rapist by hundreds of Twitter users daily.

And after reading the complaint, the notion of three separate incidents makes more sense. Initially my reaction was “how can she keep going back?” But it’s alleged that it escalated from unwelcome kissing, to unwelcome jizzing on her, to (months later after a bullshit apology from AB) forcible rape.

And how about the alleged messages AB sent her after jizzing on her but before apologizing and rekindling the working relationship....

  • That Pats should just cut him. Even if it’s all bullshit. Why put up with the aggravation? They’re good enough to where they don’t need him, and he hasn’t even played a snap for them.

If he wasn't given 10 Mil guaranteed, I think he'd be gone already.
They may be looking to see if there's any way out of the guaranteed contract like Oakland

Not sure they’d be able to do that in this situation since it’s a civil suit from an alleged 2018 incident. It’s possible Goodell puts him on the exempt list like he did to Adrian Peterson. He wouldn’t play, but the Pats would still have to pay him. So either way, if they cut him or if he’s put in the exempt list, I think they’re going to have to pay him.

Goodell can put him on the exempt list while they investigate. I can't imagine the league allowing him to play this week.  Even the Pats would have to think twice about it...although with their owner being a sexual deviant maybe not :)

Hmm....maybe that Pats can get out of his contract. Not that I think they will. Also, judging by the language of the contract, it seems like he’d have to do something wrong while on the Pats.

Who uses the exclamation point more haphazardly? Antonio Brown or Donald Trump?

    Jake Jarmel is not pleased.

    Another Brown/Trump parallel!

And of course, great Seinfeld reference.

The Bears are creating a very strange culture.
I am guessing Nagy is probably a very odd guy.

"materially undermines the public's respect for the Club" could be an out, though the alleged incidents happened whilst he was a Steeler. And of course the public outside of 5.5 states has no respect for the Club.
