Just looked this up - that London game attendance was supposedly 86,000. Watching that it looks like a lot of them were dressed up as empty red seats.

Whenever you see an attendance number announced it will always be tickets sold not tickets punched.
The NFL is delusional if they think native Britons are buying tickets to see these games. They clearly only care about the football with a round ball that you can't touch unless you're the keeper.

I'll be sure to let them know

Random, but does anyone remember Butkus as the head coach on the TV show Hang Time?

I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

    I do not.

Butkus could certainly change your forward momentum to backwards momentum, in a hurry.

Of course Wroggers waits to say it until after the Chiefs/Jets game, so he doesn't have to face Kelce in person after his igno comment.
Would love to see Kelce knock his ass out live on TV. Never happen but would be fun. A celebrity boxing match to support charity. If Kelce win's, A million free vaccines to under privileged/uninsured. If Wroggers wins. a million free doses of Ivermectin to the anti-vax community.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I don’t think Rodgers meant that to be an ass.  I’m pretty sure he was being cheeky.  There’s also some tape of him and Kelce joking around before the game.

How are the Steelers 3-2?  Mike Tomlin can really fucking coach.

  • Per the announcers, the "Texas Coast Offense" was meant to stop Dak from throwing interceptions.

    Same old Dak!

Yeah Dallas is so close to the coast. They are a joke. 49ers look really good.

  • It is only one game but nothing says loving like getting to throw the Cowboys down the stairs.
Worst regular season Dallas loss in 10 years.
    Awesome.

Hope SF gets to put them out in the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row.

Ha.  I am sure there will be weeks where 49ers fans hate on the team...but not this week!  We get all week to think about how awesome it was to demolish Dallas and not have any major injuries in the game.

The Steelers are great at winning unwatchable games at this point. I think Tomlin is a great coach.

Ha, true, but at least games against the Ravens tend to be entertaining.  I've loved Tomlin since he was hired.  I had just moved to Pittsburgh and no idea who he was when they announced him, but it was exciting.  I remember wahoo James Farrior talking about playing against Tomlin in college (I'm sure you already know Tomlin's connection to W&M and VMI).  Unfortunately, there's a strong contingency of yinzers that will never like him because of his skin tone, another group that think he only won with "Cowher's team", and others that aren't impressed because he hasn't won enough Super Bowls.

They seemed to make an effort to block the Cowboys' best pass rusher, so that was smart.  ;)

Unlike the Rams, who had an RB on him on that last series.

Did I also read it was the largest margin of victory ever in the 49ers/Cowshits rivalry?!

I am absolutely loving this season so far.  Crushing Shitsburgh on the road opening week. Beating the Rams at Levi's South. Knocking the fuck out of Dallas!
  • I didn't see that but that is cool, if so.
