    Why would the US need to be present for these events in Poland?  The US did not do all that much for Poland?  Did they not basically sacrifice Poland for Russia's input into the war?  Just asking.  

    At what point can we just stop with these events.  None of these politicians were around during WW2.  And quite honestly if I was a soldier, no fucking way would I attend an event with a politician present.  Politicians are not friends of soldiers.

    Currently, Poland has a commission studying how much more in war reparations Germany should pay...

    By the truest definition of "bad" or "worse," I agree.  But I'd argue the politicians ignoring them is far more dangerous to the long-term health of the Republic.  They are voluntarily forgoing their checks and balances to let the behavior continue.  We're supposed to be able to withstand one rogue jackass, even in the Office of the Presidency, because of checks and balances.  But the Senate has decided to own the libs. So in a sense, I'd argue that is worse.
