56% disapproval. From a Fox News poll...

    https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/457480-trump-disapproval-rises-to-near-record-fox-news-poll

At this point, the ball's really in the Dems' court to not fuck this up.
    From the same Fox poll:

So I'm gonna call out this meme/stat whatever you want to call it.

FOX has nothing posted anywhere on this.  I can't find it anywhere.  It's reported everywhere BUT on one of their sites.

Only poll I found was his approval ratings.

So I wrote the above then I did some digging!!!

Fox has this one poll hidden in their article.  You have to click on "Show Poll Results"
    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fox-news-poll-most-back-gun-restrictions-after-shootings-trump-ratings-down

Click on it then scroll down to question 23.  I have the link already below.

    Sneaky bastards.

I read that fox poll much differently.  Trumps 43% approval (after that horrific mass murder) is damn close to the 46% he won with in 2016

That tells me the dems make one small mistake (ahem MFA) Trump gets reelected.
Yes, it's a spin on the numbers.  His approval rating has always been around 43%
It was actually 46% in the last Fox poll.....
Overall he's down to 41.7. This includes a 5% drop in his favorite Rasmussen poll:
    https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/?ex_cid=rrpromo

I'd expect these numbers to continue to drop as more polls come out since the shootings and as more bad news comes out regarding the economy...
By spin I meant that he has always hovered right around 43% and his disapproval rating has been about the same too since election.

How is it spin, though? This is always good info to get the feel for how the country is thinking.

He has always hovered around 40-42%, historically low numbers. This is primarily because of the economy he inherited. They go down, like they are now, when stuff like the shootings happen and then they tick back "up" since the economy has been good.

His disapproval is about as high as it's been in that particular poll, though. That's newsworthy. And the "tearing the country apart" numbers? My goodness. 60% of the country believes the president of this country is tearing us apart! That is literally insane.

Imagine what these numbers will look like as more people become aware of the economy heading towards recession....

Same numbers for the last 3 years.  I'm not surprised.  When you have a title of "Trump disapproval rating near 60%!" is nothing new if you've been following them the whole time.

That is how I view it as spin.

That "Tearing apart country" tidbit is quite telling too.  Read that whole questionnaire list I posted.  Very interesting.  I've never actually seen one before so that was very eyeopening in what they ask.

His disapproval number was 5% LOWER LAST MONTH and has not been this high in two years. That, my friend, is a significant change in a short amount of time.
And the approval is 3% lower than last month. That is notable as well.

OK.  You don't see it like I do.  You even agreed that his numbers have averaged "He has always hovered around 40-42%,"

If that's average then what is the story?  His approval ratings have been as low as 35%, that's still another 6% away.

To me this is people making news that really isn't.  His ratings have been up and down almost every month of his presidency.  A very fickle audience.

OK, so 59% say "tearing it apart."  But some of them probably think it's a good thing.

And he's trying to suggest that he meant Xi should meet personally with the protesters rather than himself.  Unbelievable.

I am a cynical guy.  But I'd never have believed that, essentially, the entire GOP would be all-in on this level of idiocy and narcissism.  When he was elected, I thought he'd tone himself down...but I knew he was unfit for the job and that his being a total trainwreck was a possibility.  And I really thought that if that happened, the GOP would primary him.  I thought that they'd put country over party.  I think I underestimated two things: 1) the degree to which the right, particularly big-time politicians, care about "owning the libs" and 2) the level of dedication that his base would have, regardless of every stupid, selfish, embarrassing thing he's capable of.

The result is that GOP "leaders" are 1) scared to lose votes from the dedicated base, 2) think it's all worth it to "own the libs," 3) have their eyes on one-party rule (which I think is a possible outcome), or 4) think he's the messiah just like the base does.

Well it sounds like you just don't like looking at these numbers. Would you prefer the media to just not report them or something? Ha There are polls/surveys that come out every day. I'm a little bit of a junkie with these numbers so I am always looking at 538. I can tell you a 5% change in one month is a pretty big deal.

And, in general, the big takeaway from his approvals is that his numbers have NOT been up and down. They have consistently been at all time or near all time lows. So that is why it's newsworthy whenever you see a shift of 5% like this Fox one. Also newsworthy in that Fox barely covered their own poll, presumably because they did not want to upset the president.

This whole situation with Elaine Chao STILL in the cabinet and Mitch McConnell as the Senate Majority Leader?  Unethical.  Corrupt really.
Where'd that brilliant idea come from?  Bannon?  Priebus?  It seemed less a problem when HW did it with the Doles.

I'll tell you who didn't think of it...

Agreed...it's disgusting.  Lindsay Graham is a case in point.  He went from stating tRump would be the death of the GOP to joking about how tRump should have a third term.  And he threw his deceased friend (McCain) under the bus in the process.

Agreed...it's disgusting.  Lindsay Graham is a case in point.  He went from stating tRump would be the death of the GOP to joking about how tRump should have a third term.  And he threw his deceased friend (McCain) under the bus in the process.

56% disapproval. From a Fox News poll...

At this point, the ball's really in the Dems' court to not fuck this up.
    From the same Fox poll:

thats a doctored image, probably done by CNN.  Heres the real one:

Lindsay Graham has a huge nasty skeleton in his closet, and the Trump team found it.  Dead hooker or something of that magnitude.
That's the only possible explanation for his complete and total slavery to his Orange Master.

His disapproval number was 5% LOWER LAST MONTH and has not been this high in two years. That, my friend, is a significant change in a short amount of time.
And the approval is 3% lower than last month. That is notable as well.

That is not spin. It's literally just reporting the results of the survey.

Fair enough.  I was looking through his numbers and it looks like a roller coaster.  Nothing ever consistent, well that isn't true, it's consistently up and down.

I can see why FOX ignored their own poll and left other questions out.  That "tearing apart the country" tidbit is brutal.  That was my biggest takeaway from those polls.  Maybe he won't get reelected?

Tempo...the approval numbers always fluctuate. But the one thing that separates Trump from any other president, since polling began, is how consistent his numbers have been in the low 40’s. Occasionally they’ll dip into the upper 30’s. But he has had no real wild swings up or down like every other president has experienced. He’s also the only president never to top 50%. This is also a reason why changes of 3-5% get some play on the news—bigger swings than usual for him.

One other thing thin I saw from this poll: of people who dislike both Trump and Biden, they support Biden 43-10%. This is the argument I’ve been making for years when people assume he will win next year just because he won in ‘16. He will not be facing a candidate nearly as unlikable as HRC.

Fox poll I saw last night but can’t find this morning shows Team Trump Treason losing to Biden, Warren, Sanders and Harris.
