    Well if "womance" is a real thing, then hell, I have made some life long female friends that I consider some of my dearest friends ever, for over a decade.  But I also know of board romances that have come to fruition from meetings (directly or indirectly) from this board (or previous "boards").  I know people who have been married for 15+ years, people who have been together for a very long time, just friggin' awesome people who I love dearly.  I'm also aware of others who met via these boards/band affiliation that didn't necessarily last but this is what brought them together.  You see ads for dating sites all over, but meeting on a message board such as this invokes a higher level of trust. I've always believed music brings people together, and I can only assume if you're here, you're a Pearl Jam fan.  If you're not then you're just an a-hole.  :s
