No, they aren't outraged by the outscoring.
It means play defense, and don't let the other team score 13 goals.my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -

No, they aren't outraged by the outscoring.Well, since you nor anyone else has said it, what the outrage is about is that the US women's team were celebrating big-time well into their route of the Thai team. That's called poor sportsmanship and they should be called on it. Is it cause for outrage? I don't think so but then I have nothing invested in women's soccer or any other sport for that matter. So for those affected by this, maybe outrage is to be expected. But for everyone else, I doubt it.Wow, sometimes it sure does take a while to get to the real issues around here, lol."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

The Thai women were obviously most affected by this but guess what? They didn't bitch about it. In fact, the Thai goalie later tweeted Carli Lloyd (a veteran USWNT player) and thanked her for her words of encouragement on the field after the game. Primarily it was people who apparently believe this should be treated like some sort of recreational youth game where one must never talk about winning or losing, and everyone gets pats on the back for doing their best. But this is the most prestigious and high level tournament available to professional women soccer players who are representing their nations. The US women were thrilled by the goals for various reasons. For some it was their first WC goal. For others it was setting personal records. For the team there were both team and WWC records set along the way. Those were of course celebrated. I congratulate the USWNT for a job well done. They had objectives and a game plan and they executed that plan flawlessly and accomplished what they set out to do. Naturally, they were pleased about their performance and expressed that joy and exuberance. Two thumbs up from me. And two thumbs down for the outrage that caused a needless and unwarranted distraction.

^^ Right on.I've noticed that this issue only really ever comes up in women's sports btw. It's not actually an uncommon occurrence in sports (I specifically remember a few instances in Olympic women's hockey and soccer), but I can't think of a time when it was something that came up with men's teams (excluding the restrictions put on NFL players and their TD celebrations), and it's not like men don't celebrate the same way. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

That is what I thought you were very wrong about, and you literally mentioned maybe being wrong, so I said I thought you are. Seriously Brian. Just ask me when you have a reaction like that, instead of essentially attacking me for things I didn't even mean. I don't understand why you keep doing this, lol.
1) Brian you are very wrong
2) Brian it’s your fault how you read my message
And I’m honestly just trying to be helpful here, but somehow I doubt you will think that.

To Scheck's credit though, he hasn't just used his DNA expertise to help murderers get off free. He founded the Innocence Project and helped get over 300 wrongful convictions overturned.
