    They both make me fart—cheese a little more so. 

    And ice cream seems more worthy of the farts. Because it’s the best thing ever.

    I know that's one of the reasons why I chose cheese. I'll just replace ice cream with frozen yogurt.

    Unless you eat a lot of ice cream, the ratio of meals with cheese and meals ending with ice cream are probably like 50 to 2.    There are lots of desserts that could take the place of ice cream. 

    Mexican food - cheese

    Italian food - cheese

    Pizza - cheese

    Hoagies/Sandwiches - cheese

    Cake - cheesecake

    So many.  Brie, with a roast beef Sammie, on a baguette.
    Sharp cheddar on pretty much anything.  Sometimes by itself can be best.
    Sharp provolone on a roast pork Sammie, with broccoli rabe or baby spinach and hot peppers.
    Swiss with pastrami, cole slaw, and Russian dressing, on rye 
    American (not cheese!) With a cheesesteak loaded with onions and banana peppers.
    Fresh mozzarella on a beautiful Marg. Pizza 
    Some fresh parmesano-reggiano grated over some homemade pasta with basil, fresh tomatoes, and garlic.
    Pepper jack with crackers or bread & wine/good beer.
    Gruyere in a classic Croque Monsieur

    I could go on and on.  I make a killer Mac n cheese with 7 cheeses.

    Cheese is amazong- ice cream can't hold a candle.

    Maybe someone can answer this for me:  Cheese is leading the poll so far-  almost everybody loves cheese.  If cheese is so good, why is "cheesy" used to describe things that are "cheap, unpleasant, or blatantly inauthentic"?
