i'm glad he won ... watched the departed at the weekend (thanks amazon rental for delivering it for oscar weekend :)) and really enjoyed it ... would definitely recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
I've not yet seen it  but it's on my hit list. To be honest the only film of his I didn't like was After Hours, everything else I've been in awe of.

i went to the cinema to watch it and i loved it! (The Departed that is!)

i've seen every Scorsese film he's made and After Hours is good... but just good.. i think its because his other work is so amazing that it appears to be less of a film.

I've only ever seen Kundun and Age of Innocence once... need to watch them again!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Thanks red :)

Did you read an interview linked to from that site http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20012333,00.html

"Did you talk to any of the guys before or after making the announcement?
They found out with everybody else, and I haven't heard from them at all since.

You've often said that a Rage performance was one of the best live shows you'd ever seen...
Seeing Rage live was the reason that Audioslave existed! It's why I wanted to get in a room with those guys because they were some of the best performances I'd ever seen. And a part of me thinks they should still be a band.

Would you go see them play Coachella this April?
    Of course!

Would you get on stage with them?
    Now that's a good idea... "

After his answer to the first of the above questions makes me doubt that his answer to the fourth could ever happen :o
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

I never really listened to the Audioslave stuff anyway. Think not telling the rest of them before announcing is a bit :o

But anyway says there will be a tour to support the new solo record :) I'm really hoping the new record is going to be great as I've got myself so excited about it ... esp since the Stockhom gig. I'm guessing you, me and V front row wherever he decides to play in London :D:D:D

:D:D:D may be able to get on the comp at home tomorrow and grab them. They have all 4 that have leaked then. What do you think of them? Have you been looking at any of the websites? I think I may be very out of the loop by the time the gig comes around!

    Thanks red :D
