Just just to clarify the Florence venue is a festival so no reserved seats?
Correct. Not a 10 club run show at all. There is a VIP seating section that is fairly expensive but that is standing too.
    Pit area?
Sorry not sure why I said seating section for VIP. Early in the morning lol.

In 2017 they had an inner pit and an outer pit. I think the inner pit held 8000-10000 and was more expensive. They also had a VIP section to the right of the stage which included the rail but it was to the far right so the angle was not that good if you wanted rail there. All of the festival was standing.

The show was amazing in 2017 but some negatives were you had to buy tokens to buy food which is a stupid set up imo. Also like I mentioned you can get in at 12:00pm and be packed in like sardines for 6 hours before the first band comes on stage. 2017 The Cranberries cancelled so the rest of the bill minus Glen was not so appealing. Eddie did not come on until after 9:00 if I remember correctly.
Yes, you remember correctly. The token set up was a pain in the neck. It was used for the G&R concert @Imola a couple of weeks earlier.
The bill was kind of a botch. I was in the pit, but I waited outside the venue until 6 pm, 'cause it was too bloody hot.

Thanks.  They also had tokens at i-days in Milan last year and that is such a dumb system.  Think I'll wait for the full announcement.

  • It was nearer 2230 before Eddie took the stage in Florence in 2017.

Still to this day one of the most phenomenal shows I've ever attended. Spellbinding performance, you only have to watch his performance of Black that night to get a glimpse of how amazing a show it was.

I think a Pearl Jam Euro tour of theaters would be the greatest thing ever.

    Only if it was webcasted.

True, but EV and his family don't like vacationing in Canada for moths at a time.

I can see the next Alternativenation post now. Eddie's family does not like to vacation in Canada and is keeping Eddie from touring there.

3 Arena is one of my least favorite venues.
The Olympia is top notch. I'll be at Ryan as well.

Malahide has been mentioned again today by locals . All would have zero interest in pearl jam !

Any date rumors from Dublin? July works better than June for me. Would love to visit Dublin or Amsterdam. Or Berlin once more
