I will not be watching it, it pisses me off that he is fucking up my primetime tv viewing.  After the shows went into their Christmas break, I was looking for forward to my primetime tv shows returning...fuck this man.  Besides, I have only watched 1 primetime presidential bullshit speech in the last 30 years, and that was W after 911.
What's normally on at 9pm on a Wednesday? Dancing with the stars or something?
I thought he was on tonight.  Still would waste my time on the silliness known as watching a loser like trump.  Dancing with the stars would be better than him.

I actually NEVER watch Trump on TV. I specifically avoid his stupid "press conferences" and the state of the union, etc etc etc. It's not usually out of spite (tonight will be, but also because of my usual reason). It's out of the fact that I just can't fucking tolerate him. He is SO irritating and off-putting and ridiculous and disgusting and stupid, that I just can't take it. Even if I try to watch that shit, I have to turn it off within a couple of minutes. It is much more tolerable to just find out what idiotic shit he spewed later than to actually experience the madness. I just can't stand to have him invade my mind that directly.

I wouldn't even call it my principles. 95% of it is just my low tolerance for disgusting, annoying, stupid, dangerous bullshit, lol.

I keep saying this......but this is different than a dumb rally, though. No reason to watch those.

Could be a watershed moment for this country depending on how the networks treat it.....

Could be. And we'll all know what happens whether we watch it live or not.

I hope nobody is planning on tuning into this speech tonight. I hope everyone remembers that low ratings will be the strongest message he can actually understand. I hope Netflix has the highest viewership in their history tonight during this stupid speech, lol.
I’ll probably watch it. Not sure though. I’d really rather here him speak than read it later.  Need to see just how delusional he is.  But I do understand your point about ratings.
You can watch it online after the fact. ;) Don't give him or the networks the satisfaction!
It wouldn't matter if it didn't even air on television.  He would still boast about how it was "the most watched Presidential address ever. Tremendous ratings, all the people are talking and agree with me."

I guess. I just don't think the ratings issue is a big deal for this one. It will be huge either way because it's on all the channels. More important things to worry about though.

I actually have a sad over this.

Since college, I've made it a ritual to listen to the State of the Union.  Feel like it's my duty as a citizen.  Usually I make a nice meal, grab a six-pack and have a night of it.

I can not listen to 5 minutes of tRUmp's voice without feeling nauseous.  Everything about it is repugnant.  From this shiatty accent to the verbal diarrhea he spews.

I will still read the SOTU hungover the next morning, but it's not the same.  Everything tRUmp touches dies.
