Anyone familiar with the TC Honey Pot Fuzz? Or any recommendations for a solid fuzz pedal in the $50-75 range? Thanks!

Looks great. Thinking about getting the Cantrell wah. Have the basic crybaby now it just lacks a little bit.  You happy with the Cantrell?

I have both, but ever since I picked up the Cantrell wah it's been a perfect fit for me and my Crybaby is collecting dust.

Just starting to rebuild my pedalboard after moving to the States. I've a Vox V847A, a Dunlop Fuzz Face FFM6, an MXR Phase 95 (which I tend to keep on the 45 script setting), and a Deja Vibe MDV-3. (I like the MXR and the Deja Vibe together... call me weird.) At some point, I'll get back to the UK and bring over my Boss Compressor-Limiter 50, my old Arion Stereo Chorus (surprisingly good) and my old Midiverb III unit.. or I'll just replace them via Reverb. I'm also currently using a cheap and not so cheerful Behringer Noise Reducer right now for home, but naturally I'll upgrade that to a better brand that if I ever want to gig again. What I really want to add is that Catalinbread zero-through flanger pedal, which has a convincing sixties tape sound.

Edit: Oh, I've also got an EHX Octavix, which I tend to run on the 24 volt setting.

Nice collection! How do you rate the Monterey vibe? I've not used it.
  • late response, but I just rewired my board and added a G2 pedal switcher.  After playing on it for the past month or so, I've decided that 3 delays are just not needed for what I'm playing at the moment.  but more is more right!  I've got a pile of other pedals that may move into one of those delays place, but after spending the better part of 3 evenings wiring this monster, I don't have the motivation to change anything right now!   maybe in the new year I'll decide to start writing Tejano death metal with a folk twist and change it up again...

    Well done!

What about the rainbow unicorn? What kinds of sounds can you get out of that?

that's the head of the mythical beast that guides one's soul.  galloping across the sky in defiance of earth's physical properties. its pretty much an envelope filter.

I recently picked up a DOD Boneshaker and a Way Huge Blue Hippo. They have me revisiting my effects needs for our upcoming recording project. It seems like a lot has changed since the last time I was buying and trading pedals several years ago.

Tons of ambient and synth pedals out there these days.

it's great! i don't like the normal, smooth fuzz very much as some of my other pedals but the gated fuzz (after control) is awesome.

That's what I like about it too. Definitely different from a Fuzz Face or Big Muff. It's pretty high up on my list of pedals to track down next.
