    Well done!

What about the rainbow unicorn? What kinds of sounds can you get out of that?

that's the head of the mythical beast that guides one's soul.  galloping across the sky in defiance of earth's physical properties. its pretty much an envelope filter.
What ain't a country I ever heard of. Do they speak English in what?

Late reply, I know but how do you like the DOD Carcosa? The clips I've heard sound great.

I recently picked up a DOD Boneshaker and a Way Huge Blue Hippo. They have me revisiting my effects needs for our upcoming recording project. It seems like a lot has changed since the last time I was buying and trading pedals several years ago.

Tons of ambient and synth pedals out there these days.

it's great! i don't like the normal, smooth fuzz very much as some of my other pedals but the gated fuzz (after control) is awesome.

That's what I like about it too. Definitely different from a Fuzz Face or Big Muff. It's pretty high up on my list of pedals to track down next.

Cool! I have one of those Super Champs that I modified quite a bit. It's a little screamer with tons of tones.

    Nice setup you have there.

Yeah, ambient and lo-fi are huge right now.

While not really a pedal exactly, this is a pretty old school multi-effects unit with drum sounds.

Made in the 1960's by Gibson/Maestro.

This one belongs to a friend of mine. I'm cleaning and testing it for him. So far, no electronic issues. That's pretty rare for something of this vintage.

(Sorry for the upside down pics. Can't seem to fix that on my phone.)

I use it as an overall tone sweetener. Stacks great with the other drives and really adds something to the whole chain. It’s very transparent but also has a lot of versatility.

Thanks. I've been seeing more and more of them. Never checked one out first hand though.

Project I’ve wanted to do for the longest time. Wanted a cool snazzy board and the prices are ridiculous for something like this, so figured I’d put the money towards tools and materials to build my own. Even buying the signal and power harnesses premade I came out way ahead. Pretty pleased with he results and I learned so much to apply to my next board. Made a little pick/slide/capo tray to go with it.

Nice! I like the integrated IEC power idea. Looks clean and well planned.

How are you planning on mounting your pedals?

Can't wait to see it all loaded up!

    Making the jump to Dual-lock.

The IEC was premade from West Coast Pedalboards. Nice and a pretty good deal considering the quality.

Still going to drill as few small holes for power.
Not sure if I should double up in the holes and have fewer or drill a  super small hole for each of the pedals that requires it. Leaning towards the tiny holes as it would make them nearly invisible, but there is at least one that needs the bigger hole. I’ll add a grommet where needed and dab the tiny ones with stain.

The holes already cut are for the particulars of my layout. A few patch cables, power and the switcher for my Volante.

Have to wait several days before I can put the dual lock on the board, then just some pretty nice feet I snagged off amazon and I think a plexiglass bottom if I can find some sturdy enough.

Had to make some alterations to the pick tray. Slides wouldn’t fit on all 4 dowels at once so fitting a piece of wood and joint the two middle ones to make a capo holder.

No photos yet but I found a Black Russian Small Stone phaser today for $60.00. It still has the wooden box and warranty card.

Picked up a cheap, Dano Fab Flange too.

Those sound amazing. I have one that’s been abused all to hell and really shows it. It’s really one of the best types of swirl.

I've always wanted one but never pulled the trigger. The MXR Phase 90 was my go-to for a while. Then I began experimenting with others and got caught up in the chase for the perfect phase tone.

The Maxon PT-9 Pro + was really incredible but then I found the Homebrew Electronics Psilocybe. I still have it and it's a mainstay on my bass board.

Looking forward to wringing out the Small Stone with my guitars though.

I still want to add OCD Germanium, Boss CD-2 Compressor, Small Clone, and Micro POG. I was in a rut and now each time I jam I have so much to choose from.

Nice. Hendrix had one of these: it's possible that he used it on his studio version of the Star Spangled Banner at the Record Plant on March 18th, 1969.

Swapped out a few pedals since last posted.
Dirt pedals go through primary amp.
Modulation, delay and reverb routed through stereo jc-22.

Okay, no rackmount units in view in this photo, as they're by the amp. Here are the pedals. (I know, I've some leads and wires to tidy up...)
