    I referred to race because it is an overly white and aged populace that make up his base. Also, more disproportionately likely to be affected by a government shutdown. 50% of Americans aren't in the stock market so maybe his base won't even notice nor care? You might want to bag a few deers, gooses, ducks and wild bores and hunker down in your bunker when it all finally goes down.
    I am always plenty stocked with deer and wild boar, don’t worry :). I have never actually been duck or goose hunting, but I hear they can be pretty tasty if cooked the right way.

    First,  ISIS is not defeated.  The caliphate state they desired is no more,  but the are still 20 to 30k fighters on the region.  Think of the power vacuum that ensued when we left Iraq too quickly.  Russia will be filling that gap.  Last, we are leaving the Kurds high and dry yet again.

    1. American intervention could only be the worst intervention when compared to Russian intervention
    2. Either American retreat will result in a net reduction in lives lost to war, or American lives are more valuable than foreign lives
    3. Exit strategies need not exist for good results
