I saw it last weekend and enjoyed it.  Maybe I'm in the minority. The guy playing Freddie was mesmerising.

As a long time fan of Queen and Freddy and having been at LiveAid London and seeing Queen 3 times I was looking forward to seeing  it.
    It was good but disappointing
    Rami Malek was perfect casting
    Lots of factual inaccuracies

    Bohemian Rhapsody

I liked it, like everyone says Rami was great as Freddie.  The guy who portrayed Brian May was also really good.  Funny that Mike Myers role involved the song Bohemian Rhapsody.

    The Last Jedi

I think it’s now surpassed The Empire Strikes Back as my favorite Star Wars film. I really hope that JJ Abrams doesn’t listen to fanboy Internet trolls and try to “save the franchise.”

    A Quiet Place

What a piece of absolute blah.  I want to ask 100 questions of the people who made this movie.  Some parts were OK -- and the acting by a few was solid.  Plot?  Oh my, wow.  No idea why so many people liked this movie.

TLJ surpassed Empire?  Wow, I am glad you like it so much.  I enjoyed but based on nostalgia and connection, I would be hard pressed to have a Star Wars movie knock Empire from the top slot for me.

I thought this movie was great.

Seeing how some of the songs were created was really cool to see.

All this time I never knew Freddie Mercury was Indian...

    Actually he was Parsi
Has born in what is now Tanzania and lived in  India before moving to England.
His family were zoroastrians from India.
Zoroastrians left Persia centuries ago and settled in what is now Pakistan and then India.

I thought Parsi is the Indian word for Persian migrants?
    Same thing isn't it?
It's like saying Afrikaner in South Africa when they are actually mainly Dutch migrants.

I believe that Parsi refers to the zoroastrians
I have a friend who is from Iran and describes herself as Persian not Parsi as she is not zoroastrian.

But it might just be tomato tomatoe

First Man...According to Neil Armstrong son, the technical aspect of the first man was well done.  Neil Armstrong lost a child to cancer, and there was a scene when Neil was on the moon and he let a bracelet float off that belonged to his child, is the only part of the movie that Neil Armstrong son could not verify as factual.
