    Scream - Rotten Tomatoes

it was on my daughter's watch list, so we watched it. funny how non-scary it actually is. more of a horror comedy.

apparently my opinion on it isn't popular. I told my movie nerd buddy two nights ago that I had to shut it off halfway through as I was bored out of my mind. I chose to finish it last night, but still...I still wouldn't put it on a pedestal like a lot of other people seem to.

I told the same thing to another movie nerd buddy and he gave me the same reaction. I suppose it's a big deal since it was a big inspiration for the genre and moviemakers moving forward, and that's fine, but as a stand alone piece on its own, I found it "meh".

In that case, skip Blade Runner 2049.
Much slower pace than the original, you'll fall asleep.

yeah, buddy #1 said the same thing. But I think I'll give it a shot anyway. I don't think the slower pace was the only issue; it was how dated it was, the overbearing synths of the soundtrack during odd points in the movie. I don't mind slow pacing movies or shows on their own.

Pretty much what you'd expect to see a Munsters movie directed by Rob Zombie I suppose.

So I married an axe murderer.

Slow silly and fun. Pretty sure I caught parts of it before. Nice to actually watch a whole movie.
