I enjoyed it, Rami Malek’s portrayel of Freddie was very believable. Mike Myers makes some classic faces in his small role as a record exec... seamed full circle him playing this role as the song Bohemian Rhapsody was a huge part of Wayne’s World.

If you're any sort of fan of Queen in general and Freddy in particular you should see it.
Not a great movie by any means but Rami Malek as Freddy was perfect casting.
And as someone who loved Freddy and Queen and was at Liveaid London I highly recommend it.

Def not a great film, but not bad either

Sascha Baron Cohen was supposed to play Freddie, I heard him on Howard Stern a few years ago say Brian May & company were a pain in the ass to deal with.

    Rami was great

Wasn’t it just incredibly awesome? Somehow, even though you know that he makes it, the film has a grip on you and you can’t look away while also barely being able to watch some parts.

He is a beast, and also an odd guy. No surprise there

I watched the trailer and found it so compelling that I fell down a rabbit hole of YouTube videos of documentaries on him and interviews and TED talks. Hours later and I had to pull myself out cause there is an endless fascination with his mastery of his mind and how natural the control of outside influence comes to him. And then there is the amazement of a man crawling up a sheer rock. There is sadness in knowing how the probability of an early death is high and yet he has more peace with it than I do. Amazing.

About an hour and a half away from Pittsburgh. Johnstown, if you’ve ever heard of it. And I’m not 100% sure yet where exactly I want to live but I know I want to be living IN the city. I’ll have my degree in early childhood education so I plan on teaching at an elementary school in the city somewhere. I’m fully open to the school being in a rough neighborhood, as long is that rough neighborhood is within a 10-20 minute public transportation ride of a not-so-rough neighborhood that I can live in. From what I know of philly geography (which isn’t much) I don’t get the sense that it will be an overly hard thing to accomplish, but I’m certainly eager to get any advice you or anyone else may have.

The Dark Tower. Within the first 5 minutes the line "Go then, there are other worlds than these." came to mind, and with that thought, I quite enjoyed it (as a fan of the novels since the 80s, lol).  Like the Lord Of The Rings movies, not exactly the movie I would've made, but it still fits with what went before.

Yes, I also heard another interview with Baron Cohen and his intent was to make the movie completely focused on Freddy, but May wanted it to carry on to them still going on etc. He washed his hand of it and he was on the same wave length
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

I live in the suburbs and only venture to the city maybe once a month for a concert or two. Most of philly is nice. I've heard parts of north philly are bad.
