At least the economy is booming. People will credit Obama but if it was in the toilet the same people would credit Trump. As much insane atypical decisions that Trump has made in the past several years you can’t say his approach is anywhere near hands off in regards to the economy. Pure luck?Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

They had to cut taxes and deregulate in order to keep the same straight line economic growth that started under Obama. The negative outcomes from those will be significant.Jason P said:At least the economy is booming. People will credit Obama but if it was in the toilet the same people would credit Trump. And don’t forget the deficit. And the $1.5 trillion tax cut that disproportionately went to the top 1%. Smoke and mirrors.Go Beavers said:

Still, we are heading into a midterm election and supermarkets are offering starting cashiers jobs that pay double the state minimum wage and still can’t find a workforce because the job market is so competitive. Oddly enough this doesn’t get brought up in the news. But I guess stability doesn’t get the page views that a piece of toilet paper stuck on a shoe can generateBe Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

Wage increases get brought up in the news and so do the increase in the cost of goods and services which nearly negate those wage increases. It’s not translating when you look at the whole picture.Jason P said:Still, we are heading into a midterm election and supermarkets are offering starting cashiers jobs that pay double the state minimum wage and still can’t find a workforce because the job market is so competitive. And the rise in interest rates for mortgages and credit debt and it really doesn’t register. Hey but my health insurance is only going up 5% in January so there’s that.Go Beavers said:

Who the f**k takes a big poop, gets toilet paper stuck on his shoe, and then proceeds to act like a really big deal in front of the world?
It's so symbolic that details- the big and small variety- mean nothing to this boob.
He's a bonafide moron. Don't trip over yourself trying to give him some credit. He rode Obama's wave in. Trying to give Trump credit for the current economy is like blaming the vehicle stopped directly in front of you for blocks of gridlock."My brain's a good brain!"0 -
Do they use the "line and the list"?

Why?
https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-immigration-crackdown-federal-agency-budgets_us_5bbd37c9e4b0876edaa336db
The expected cost: $750 per night, per bed. For about the same price, the federal government could pay for a deluxe hotel room — with a view of Central Park — at Trump’s Manhattan hotel. For every month that the Trump administration locks up a single undocumented minor in the Texas desert, it pays more than the annual cost of putting a student through state college, complete with room and board.

I've never seen anyone so brainwashed by a president. They treat these stupid rallies like a concert. What the hell is wrong with people? Did weird shit like this happen for any other president? Oh wait, nevermind, no other president has ever held rallies for themselves while in office outside of during the year of re-election.Gern Blansten said:
