    At least the economy is booming.  People will credit Obama but if it was in the toilet the same people would credit Trump.  As much insane atypical decisions that Trump has made in the past several years you can’t say his approach is anywhere near hands off in regards to the economy.  Pure luck?

    Still, we are heading into a midterm election and supermarkets are offering starting cashiers jobs that pay double the state minimum wage and still can’t find a workforce because the job market is so competitive.   Oddly enough this doesn’t get brought up in the news.  But I guess stability doesn’t get the page views that a piece of toilet paper stuck on a shoe can generate

    And the rise in interest rates for mortgages and credit debt and it really doesn’t register. Hey but my health insurance is only going up 5% in January so there’s that.

    I'm hearing a lot about the job market. I'm also hearing that wages are not keeping up with inflation, so buying power has not improved.
