I like the poster and I want one. Doesn’t bother me a bit. I do wonder how tester’s camp must be feeling about the whole thing though. It’s obvious from Jeff’s quote that he had a bunch of ideas he gave to the artist who drew it up and “killed it” as Jeff said, but I don’t think Jeff or Tester knew what the print would look like until the rough draft got sent to Jeff. I wonder if Tester ever saw it at all? As far as politicians go, any publicity is probably good, but I bet they’re a bit shaken?
I have been looking for a comment by Tester or his campaign but haven’t found one yet. Can’t wait to see what eventually comes out. Politically, probably the safest thing for him to say is something along the lines of “while I don’t agree with the imagery, I fully support their right to express their artistic vision and political views blah blah blah..”, but it would be fantastic if he actually comes out in support of it.
Tester officials said the campaign had nothing to do with the poster.
"We never saw the poster before the show and we don't like it," Tester spokesman Chris Meagher said. "And we don't condone violence of any kind."
Disappointing but hardly surprising. I’m sure he called Jeff and said “sorry man, I gotta do this. All my advisors are telling me it’s bad PR”. It’s too bad but politics is a game and he has to play.
Keeping things in perspective, this just an artist's rendering of what Trump is doing to America. It is a criticism of him, not of the country or its people. It is not advocating any violence (as has been reported by some right leaning "news" agencies), in fact it is doing the opposite...it is encouraging the people to take back their country by exercising their right to vote on November!
Fucking Canadians! And dont get me started on the British!

Fuck Tester. What a coward not to stand up for his "friend" that did so much to get him elected then re-elected. Typical Washington fraud.
He's in a tight race with a bozo who's trying to weaponize this. Cut him some slack. It's also possible that he actually doesn't dig it. It's a provocative piece and that ain't for everyone.
Waiting on Alt Nation to quote this thread. Then it will be official.
He's always stalking the boards here and using people's quotes in his articles. It's rather annoying, but I don't see an end in sight. And he thinks Dimi is a god since he always seems to have a lot of good intel on the band, so whenever Dimi starts dropping hints then Alt Nation really gets on a roll.
I'm a Pearl Jam and an Art Teacher. I tell my students all the best artwork is thought-provoking and sometimes controversial. Looks like the Missoula Poster did it's job!
That Missoula poster is evil and harmful to the country. There have already been too many posters that have hurt feelings and ruined lives. Can you imagine if one of these posters was ever displayed in a school???
I hope you're joking. And why would the poster be displayed in a school?

The US needs poster control. Now.
Maybe Space Force can take that on at least until someone figures out what they are suppose to do.

Where were you when the wolfpig poster dropped? That hurt everyone’s feelings, right and left. Where was the outrage on the news channels?

Well, I suppose now the floodgates are open for bloodied corpse effigies of the next Democratic President.
This is sad all the way around... left and right are both dispicable these days. I’ll keep voting libertarian while being ashamed of my fellow man.
In the meantime, I look forward to hearing some great MUSIC and hopefully hanging with some fellow fans this weekend in Chicago. one upside to the Ed political rants is its easy to grab a beer when he gets on the soapbox
