I would only feel proud other likes it too.
Because historically white people haven’t celebrated other cultures but instead destroyed them. Look at a lot of white people’s current attitudes toward diversity for present day feelings if you din’t like mucking around in the past.
And so the blaming and guilt must carry on to a new generation of white people not remotely responsible for the sins of the past?
Yes, otherwise you are a racist.  If you defend yourself you are a racist.  If you don’t want to be minimized you are a white supremacist.  Is that how it goes halifax?

*Those rules apply only if you are white.  Black/brown/purple/yellow pride all good.  White is bad*

If you made something of yourself it isn’t because of sacrifice and hard work, it is because of privilege.  Same rule applies as above.

LOL, Michael Moore.  Use Bozo the Clown next time for a more credible opinion.
I don't get the hate for Michael Moore.  Moore warned us- he predicted Trump would get elected.  So who are the bozos?
I do. he exposes the hypocrisy and bigotry and greed of the right

Yes, absolutely, and it was a stern warning.  People laughed it off, called him an idiot. Foolishly enough, many still do.

They're pretty disgusting though. I had a good (white) friend/roommate once who decided to start some dreads, and he enlisted me to help... We'd sit there and use this wax crap and kind of roll/tangle his hair, day after day, as it grew out - it took months to create legit looking dreads ... And it actually looked good and suited him super well, but it really didn't take long at all for it to get kind of nasty and gross, and he was taking care of them properly, as well as possible, anyway. No matter what you do though, bacteria and so much oil/grease gets trapped in those things in white people hair. Apparently it's completely different for hair on black people though. Afro hair has to be handled way differently, and you have to wash it far less than white people need to. White people's hair gets all greasy and gross if it's not cleaned pretty often, so dreads aren't actually practical for white people at all.

That just sounds nasty.  You are good friend for doing that for him.  I'd at least like the option of longer hair ... when is science going to cure male pattern baldness.

I'm not sure why anybody would get on board with a hair style that is a sponge for stink.  I have short hair and if I go camping for a week my hair smells like a used sock that has been farted on.  To each their own.
