Pictures or it didn't happen. Hahaha! Can't wait to get up there and jump into the mix! Half the fun can be fighting for merch!
Or it could turn into a nightmare? We'll have to see on Tuesday morning when I hit the streets of Seattle.

Thanks for pic, I won’t be there till Wednesday morning, hope it looks similar
  • You would think the shows are at CenturyLink and not Safeco with the color scheme they chose for most of the Seattle merch. Why couldn't they throw in some old school Mariners color scheme merch in there?
  • I don't even think PJ is at the level of merch that the Stones, Beatles or Floyd are at. But you make one dog collar and print 14 different shirts for some stadium shows and you get labeled as a schlock band crass merchandiser.

    I disagree here
Stones have one of the most boring posters out there and they charge premium too comparing to PJ
Roger waters tshirt is basically a template from his new album cover

I wish they made the hats similar to the style of the 2016 all black one with PJ in white/red lettering in the front.

I mean, putting their logo/name/image on anything and selling it. Re: how people are comparing PJ to Kiss in terms of merchandising. Not in terms of quality of content/price.

It looks like a gorgeous weather day in downtown Seattle, I can't believe anybody would voluntarily subject themselves to that line up.

Because they might as well be Kiss now with all the focus on merch and not music.   It was fun getting a sticker and a poster, but now you have to stand in line three hours at a mall to get it.  7 days of merch.  Absolutely ridiculous.
100% agree.  This definitely isn't the pearl jam I grew up with (and before someone jumps down my throat I get that they changed blah blah blah).  I just wish they would put as much effort into writing music as they do with the merch.
Now we have people lining up for days to get rail and/or merch for a band that has written one song in 5 years.

I'm gonna be happy as hell strolling into ga five minutes before they go on after spending a nice day with my wife in Chicago kid free.  If anything is left merchwise I'll probably get a t-shirt for my wife and maybe a sticker.  One thing I'll definitely pick up is the bootleg when it comes out.
Completely agree (except insert Boston )

Yep.  If i flew in for these shows id be taking my girl around that beautiful city.  Even on a non-show day i wouldnt drag us to that line.

  • someone post some pics once they got a poster... I dont have my copies and am not sure when they will arrive, I know the printers have been swamped for a while working on the US leg, so you gotta figure artist copies are last to be shipped (i bet they do not arrive til next week)... always concerned about how colors print compared to how they look to the sample jpeg...it is seldom a direct match just because computer monitors and paper are obviously different beasts

it is a perfect summer PNW day... this is why the gray and the rain is worth it
  • The colors on that shuss one are amazing.  The brown of the hairy ape guy is simply perfect.  And the lettering is so dynamic.  Totally mind blowing piece of art.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Have a question. Do they have bags to put your stuff in shirt, socks, cards etc. or should you bring your own. Don't want to be stuck with a bunch of crap in my hands when I leave.

100% this. I love the Seahawks colors but it's not at Centurylink! Old school Mariners is the best.
