    So Team Trump Treason is bitching about going to that national security threat that is Canada for the G7 meeting because he opposes them and doesn’t want to be lectured. What the fuck happened to the tough negotiator that was going to be tough and negotiate way better, beautiful, the most beautiful trade deals ever?     Cue BS intervening on Trump supporters' behalves here saying something like: no no no. It was actually a very wise and informed voter base that elected Trump. They were so dissatisfied with the system that they elected a real man of the people who was for sure going to be better than the alternative. They swung for the fences and knocked it clean out of the park!

    His core base of morons are still as strong as ever. Nothing will change their minds. They're far too stupid to think objectively (they wouldn't have a clue when America has actually gotten great again) and to boot... they love watching minorities in handcuffs getting deported from their country (this alone is enough for them).And this core is much larger than anyone had ever imagined- there's tons of them.

    Unless halifax is correct, the downfall of Trump is going to have be every liberal voter and every remorseful partisan voter getting off their couch to vote the clown out of office.

    Nah, I disagree, though usage might be moving in this direction now. Traditionally westerners have used cabin and easterners cottage, whatever it looked like. This is one of those recognized regional variations in language. When I moved to Ontario in 1997 I noticed the difference.

    Ya, I know that people in Ontario have a different definition - this is why I've actually discussed this before with people from Ontario. I was just saying what those words mean in my own little world in metro Van. Also, people from Ontario call going to a cabin (cottage to them) "camping", which is not at all what camping means in my circle. You have to be sleeping in a tent for it to be camping.
    The differences between Ontario and BC are stunning to me sometimes. Honestly, it often feels like we're from two different countries, and not just because of the differences in language usage.
