Tempo, come on. A month ago you pronounced the Cavs dead.

Seriously, who do you think is coming out of the West to play the Sixers? And in how many games will they lose to the Sixers?

Probably Houston.  and i'll say 6.

Both will be in the running, but I think Stevens will get it. To have the Hayward injury in the first game and still have a great season is good coaching. D'Antonio will also receive consideration, but I don't think he wins it

Yeah, I agree, they have had their fair share of injuries. Point was that they went into the season having spent the preseason integrating Hayward into the system, then it all blows up in the first few minutes of the season. To keep rolling immediately after that happened, shows how good of a coach he is and the system he has in place

Why are your Jizz sub .500 vs The East if its the inferior conference?
if I had to guess, I'd bet the jazz were playing more of the little sisters of the east before they (jazz) found their groove. plus, it's hard to get up for those garbage teams.

Donovan Mitchell has been excellent, but he's not going to win ROY, and I'm pretty sure he misses out on Coach of the Year too  =)=)

Quinn definitely deserves to be considered and will finish top 4 I think, but won't win it.

Brogdon winning last year opens the door for anyone to win that award. That was a joke.

So,  i guess the Europeans who actually played PRO Basketball, can't be considered for the ROY?   I think Pau Gasol played 3 years in the Spanish League and won the NBA ROY. How could he win when he was already a Pro? Luka Doncic is playing in his 3rd year of Pro Ball  for Real Madrid in Spain League, who also play in the Euro League, is going to be a Top 5 pick in this year's NBA Draft, so  he's not allowed to be ROY? And, a player who never played one second in NBA because he was hurt and missed the whole season, and was able to play the next season, can't win ROY?

Too bad for Mitchell that he doesn't do a whole lot else other than score...

And I like Donovan Mitchell. Great pick by Utah. But he is an inferior all around basketball player to Ben Simmons. When any semblance of a jump shot comes, he has a legit chance to be considered best player in the game...it's scary to see the numbers he has put up without a jumper.

That is the story of every great player.  Once they develop a jumper!  Watch that Giannis dude when he develops one.  Lights out from there.

What's your point? That's got nothing to do with BBall IQ, Passing ability, Defense. You can still be a great defensive player for your position at 6'3.

Mitchell was a GREAT pick by the Jazz, but he's a scorer and that's it, for now. Simmons impacts the game in a multitude of ways
