On another note with operation Tank.  The knicks are playing with too much heart and actually winning when they should be losing.  Bravo to the team for playing hard but not so good for the teams future...

During tank's, the players and coaches are not intentionally trying to lose.

One of the great things about the Sixers 3 year tank is that they usually played hard and ended up developing a few players who are playing significant roles on what's now a contending team. It's also the main reason Bret Brown is still the coach.

I get that but they should be losing dammit, lol!

Their have a 12.2 percent chance at falling to 10, per Tankathon.com.

    Ah yes, 10.

To further illustrate how brilliant the Sixers tank was....the team currently occupying 10 is the Lakers who will have to give the pick to the Sixers as a result of the Michael Carter Williams trade.

The celtics and sixers have both put themselves in an amazing position to do great things.  The reason I gave the sixers shit is because they did the tanking 3 years in a row and you finally have to say, hey what are you doing here.  It's unconventional and frowned upon out in the open but hey the muscled through the ridicule and are set up for the future.

Yeah I hear you. But I think if you look around and ask most fans if they'd be willing to give up 3 years to put themselves in the same position as the Sixers right now, I think most would do so. 3 years isn't all the much if you consider the franchise has been mostly mediocre for most of my lifetime. 3 years is nothing.

Tempo, come on. A month ago you pronounced the Cavs dead.

Seriously, who do you think is coming out of the West to play the Sixers? And in how many games will they lose to the Sixers?

Probably Houston.  and i'll say 6.

Both will be in the running, but I think Stevens will get it. To have the Hayward injury in the first game and still have a great season is good coaching. D'Antonio will also receive consideration, but I don't think he wins it

Yeah, I agree, they have had their fair share of injuries. Point was that they went into the season having spent the preseason integrating Hayward into the system, then it all blows up in the first few minutes of the season. To keep rolling immediately after that happened, shows how good of a coach he is and the system he has in place
