I give me brother a rough time every time we go to the a ballgame and he puts ketchup on his hot dogs.  He puts extra on there, smiles, and flips me off.

That's when you fling mustard on him.  That's a clothing stain that never truly comes out.

I was watching a movie or a show or something not long ago - can't remember what it was now - and there was just one quick line that got my attention. Something about how Kellogg's Corn Flakes were created as an anti-masturbation tool. This piqued my interest, so I looked it up. Turns out it's true! Dr. John Kellogg thought that bland food decreased excitement and arousal, so he basically stole the invention of Corn Flakes from his brother Will, and then started using them as part of a larger health regimen that he used at his Sanitarium to help stop his patients from choking the chicken and ruining their health and soul. Ironically, he also invented a variety of massaging devices, lol, like for feet and stuff. I guess he was too "pure" to think of their potential dual purposes.
(His brother Will later wanted to create Frosted Flakes with the invention he shared with his brother, but John refused because he was such a health nut and wouldn't agree to adding the sugar, so Will started his own cereal company just so he could frost the flakes, and that is what later became the Kellogg Company).

Yeah, I got it after.... Miggs could definitely have used some Corn Flakes! Like enough to equal one bowl of Total, probably.

No, Dyer, no!  I haven't had a corn dog in years (with mustard only!), but the pickle thing...nyet for me!

I wish fried food still appealed to me.  Maybe one bite and then I'm done.

But a nice crunchy deli pickle?  Mmmm.

Deep fried pickles kick ass! The first time I found out these were a thing was at some food/music festival. I thought they had to be disgusting. Then I got fairly drunk and proceded to eat a couple baskets of them. Hooked me for life!

It's a food that if I see it on a menu I will generally order. They can be hit or miss though. Got to be made from a decent pickle like Klaussen's brand. Once got some made from shitty, cheap pickles. The ones that are neon green colored. No good.

I never referred to them as frickles before but I do like.  Light breading, please.

I used to think anything was better fried and then I went to a place on the boardwalk at the shore where they fry anything you bring them.  I just asked for Reese's fried.
    It was fucking disgusting.
One bite and I wanted to barf.  Threw the rest out.

    Are fried pickles soggy inside?

I've never had fried green tomatoes but imagine they lend themselves better to that cooking process.

    Reese's fried - another nope!

Yes, half the time they are a soggy, greasy, disgusting mess.
The other half they are delicious and crunchy good.  The key is to slice whole pickles and not just try to get jarred pickle chips.
