That's why i did one show. I drove(6 1/2 hours, cuz of TRAFFIC) up for the show, and then drove(just over 5 hours) back home right after the show. It was well worth it , though.BLACK35 said:
Thats why I didn't go to Fenway last time, the hotels were crazy priced. It would have cost me a $1000 for like 3 days if I recalled correctlycutz said:
I'll take anything at this point.my2hands said:I don't see them playing Monday of Labor Day Weekend... that definitely feels like a Fri/Sun...
Would love an announcement soon
But, playing Labor Day Weekend would suck for traveling. Plus, i would expect Hotel prices to be very expensive, and Hotel prices in Boston are already expensive as it is.0 -
I looked at doing that, and some of those places were expensive too. I find a couple of places that weren't too badly priced, but decided not to do that. Plus, i admit, if i can help it, not to use the metro when i travel for shows. If i can, i'd rather stay close to the venue where i can walk.my2hands said:

We got lucky and found a place right next to Fenway, just over the bridge for somewhere around 150-175. Can’t remeber exact price. We found it on one of those travel sites and it was a nice hotel. It was only a 4 minute walk to the park, if even that.cutz said:

Ummm...am I missing something here on these Ballpark shows? I know Dimi is pretty accurate but just dont want to get my hopes up>>>any proof>>>? If this is true, I'm all in on Safeco! Holy Shit6/27/06 St. Paul**MN

I think we'll get our hometown show(s) this year. Safeco seems to be a pretty strong rumor, so keep your fingers crossed. I'd love to be able to see Pearl Jam without having to fly to another state for a change.DoDaFoo said:I really hope the Safeco shows happen. seems to me all rumors have been started by Dimi at this point. So really, any hype around these strong rumors have been self generated only by us. I would like to hear something from another outlet myself. Cause if Dimi is wrong, we really have nothing at all.Post edited by DEGBTI on0

Dimi has only hinted towards Wrigley. Let's play 4! lol
There have been a few confident people with "sources" to Safeco and Fenway. That's all we have, keep them coming though!2013= Wrigley 1, Dallas, OKC
2014= Amsterdam 1&2, St. Louis, Lincoln, Detroit, Moline, Denver
2015= Mexico City
2016= Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Lexington, MSG1, Fenway1, Wrigley 2&3
2017= EV @ Ohana
2018= London 1, Boarderline, Seattle 1&2, Missoula MT, Wrigley 4&50 -
No, not really......look at the top quote. Safeco seems very likely.Ando said:Just got a text from a friend very very high up the ladder at Safeco telling me to plan on visiting him this summer! If you scroll back, there are some other people that seemed to have some inside info that stated Boston and Wrigley are happening. Safeco hasn’t been mentioned as much, but Dimi did mention northwest and he’s usually spot on.DEGBTI said:seems to me all rumors have been started by Dimi at this point. He also specifically mentioned northwest states in the plural form, so to me, that seems to be hinting at a northwest leg of a possible arena tour. I mean what ball parks are there in the Northwest states (Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and maybe NoCal) besides safeco that would be viable venues? I don't think there are any, the closest thing I can think of is AT&T park in San Franciscojmug23 said:

true, there are a few thankfully. But I would guess there has to be someone with solid info out there. It must take dozens if not hundreds of people to nail down a tour. There must be somebody who would leak some solid info. Even just solid dates?ZeldaZonk said:

We have info in this thread from our favorite Greek, grounds keepers at Fenway, Mariners employees, and even Theo Epstein himself
Shit is going down

The 2016 Tour had a good handful of people that knew venue workers that had inside info about Pearl Jam having holds on specific arenas. I love how Dimi trickles out info and gets the hype going but there are others out there and it seems this has already started to happen with the ballpark rumours. Now if we can get info on the full tour that would be great!0

You are right. I think he has definitely hinted at multipem north west spots which would make me believe there will be a west coast arena tour. Unfortunately, I don’t think those rumors will start to leak out for a couple months. Hopefully at least the stadium shows will be announced this month. Always nice to be able to plan early. My wife gets annoyed that we have to wait so long to plan our family vacationsdconner50 said:

You would think so, but so far everyone is pretty tight lipped about it. Hopefully we know something definitely before too much longer.DEGBTI said:
