I'm not too concerned.  Based on the 10c's announcement it sounds like there will be great odds.

As a side note I thought it interesting how phish is doing a “ticket request period” for their upcoming summer tour. No fan club, just put in for however many tickets (2,4,6) you want and if lottery picks you you’re locked in for that many tickets, and they can be anywhere from lawn, GA floor, close seats, far seats, whatever.  Totally blind, no seniority, but it gives everyone an equal chance to get tickets before the public sale.

Interaated in hearing folks ills thoughts on their system.
And it's free! Have been to most of Phish shows at Dicks. Only year I missed was 2011 when I was at Alpine Valley Labor Day weekend. Tickets for Phish, are getting harder to get now because of no yearly membership fees & a resurgence in fans. I do like that you have equal odds for any shows, where as 10C tickets have priority choices for multiple shows. Makes it tougher for getting multiple shows(not including Europe), but not impossible. I like multiple shows  =)=)
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
    What You Giving

I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!

does anybody have 2016 10club seating locations at wrigley based on seniority?
I believe i was section 109 the first night and 135 the 2nd night with a 327xxx tenclub number.

    7x,xxx
Sec. Q row 2 night 1 on aisle next to sec. P
Sec. Q row 3 night 2 on aisle next to sec. P

52,xxx and night 1 I had tickets probably very close to you. I think it was sec P row 4
Row 1 sec. P had a bunch of "VIPs" including Eds wife, kids, mom, brother, etc

I wish they would just make the whole field GA at Wrigley.  That's how it was for Foo Fighters and it was much better/chill.

Yep, I remember that. I thought I even saw Theo there but I must have imagined it.

I remember Ed's daughters were sitting a few rows in front of us.

we had some great seats, didn't we? I am thinking about putting in for Reserved again but the GA pit is also alluring.

might split nights 1-reserved   night 2-GA or vice versa.

I think demand will be higher then ever... the entire eastern time zone is going for Fenway...
Fenway will sell out as fast as it did last time.  Might have been different if we had gotten a couple of Philly shows.
This ^^^^^^ right here. I know i would NOT go up to Fenway if ther were Philly Stadium shows.

I think some are underestimating Fenway not being a harder ticket to get then Montana. The population, like some have mentioned, is HUGE in the East.. Montana is not the most populated area>LOL>and it's also not the easiest place to get to. I went in 2012 and ther were no direct flights to Missoula.

I feel like the dates and the fact that they played Fenway two years ago will deter some people. I think Seattle is going to be the big draw this year.
Agreed.  Seattle and Missoula will be the 3 toughest draws.

    Agreedx2

Will be tough deciding lotto priority for these three.

You guys really think Missoula will be that hard to get?  There will be a lot of tickets and it's one show instead of two at the other cities. Most people would rather travel for two shows I would think.

I think a lot of West Coasters and people already coming to Seattle will try to do both. The new lottery setup and the fact that Stubhub is not an option for Safeco will make it even more interesting

Kind of surprised there isn’t a VIP package to raise money for Tester like they did in 2012.
They're working on something. It's handled by Tester's office/website, the band's people aren't involved. It went really well in 2012 actually. I had to commit a lil fraud to purchase tickets as it was only intended for US citizens.

I think it comes down to population numbers...

47% of the USA lives in the Eastern Time Zone (with a lot of it jammed into the northeast)
    29% in Central Time Zone
    16% in Pacific Time Zone
    6% in Mountain Time Zone

This explains the "East Coast Bias"... it's where everyone lives, so they tour here more

And Chicago is a massive Metropolis with a huge population... coupled with Ed's connection to the area... it's understandable why they play there so often in larger venues/events

East Coast also has Europe and (somewhat) South Americw.

Here’s the thing though. If you want to go to one show at one of the cities and you don’t care which show, you pick the least popular show as your first pick and you should get it.

U2s upcoming msg shows, $300 w fees, for upper level nose bleeds. No joke.

Edit: I just checked. I was wrong.

$331 PLUS FEES. Upper level 5 rows from top.

PJ charged $85 + SC  for every msg seat in 16 if I recall correctly. They do a great job keeping prices low, but with their "system" - low  tensee numbers stockpiled tix , driving up resale prices to U2 land.

If that's where prices end up anyway for the very popular bands, seems fairer if the band gets that $

Funny, i wasn’t a huge fan of them at all, but a friend dragged me to their Joshua tree show in Pasadena last year and i loved it. They sounded really good and put on a great show. Just my opinion of course :)

I’ve seen U2 on the last two tours and been fortunate to have VIP seats both times.  I’ll also be seeing them in June at MSG with VIP tix again and I’m psyched because they’ve never been less than spectacular.
