It used to be that we'd get the "holiday single" around or shortly after the holidays, up until the late 90'-2000's anyway. They've now changed it to "annual single", and the time frame which we can expect them is anyone's guess. The last several years, it's gotten later and later, to the point where we're now getting them a full calendar year AFTER the applicable membership year. This one's creating a lot of confusion, because it's supposedly the long-delayed 2016 one, but it says "2017" on it - so until the 10C team gives us some sort of clarification after they return from the holiday break, there's going to be a lot of speculation on whether this is 2016 or 2017, and whether or not they skipped a year, or if we still have an additional one coming for 2017. We'll see...

I don't think they're "skipping a year".. Simply because that would mean they owe us (at the very least) a partial refund for the 2016 membership.

The old system wasn't without confusion either. People who joined in a certain year, but after the deadline weren't eligible for that year's release, but were eligible for the next one.

By moving the deadline to the last day of the year, anyone who joined in a certain year is eligible. Of course, this means they can't begin production until mid-January. Throw in the craziness of RSD and everyone trying to produce for that... it can't be a simple process.

There's got to be some better way of doing the membership 
Iike Pay for your membership for the following year before December 31st and ship out everything as a proper package in March. T shirt, single and Deep all together and save postage. All dated for the year it comes out in.

I renew in December and am international so I guess I don't wait as long as some on the single but it does mean my t-shirt is out of date before I ever get it.

Yeah, it seems to me that they simply skipped the 2016 single altogether. I will wait and see if I get this package or not, since I paid for analog in 2016 and not in 2017. If I get this, I suppose they intend for this to be the 2016 one (even though that makes no sense when they put 2017 on the single). If I don't get one, this is for the 2017 membership year and we got nothing for 2016. If that ends up being the case I will be demanding a partial refund of my 2016 membership fee.

They should have released a double 7” set to make up for their tartiness 

Since this was taking so long I was  hoping that ten club was considering giving us a benny reissue  for the long wait

Eddie went on a tour. Different healing process for everyone. But I don’t see how it should have affected a single. From 2016 too. 

It’s just laughable now, I almost hope it doesnt come for another couple years so we can set a really good record that hopefully will not be broken. 

I think people should start accepting that Eddie and Chris were not close by the end.
