yeah that was bananas.  Kinda surprised that was the first game this season to go to at least 2 OT's.  Embiid needs to know when to pass and when to shoot.  He made some poor decisions towards the end (but then again had some great blocks).  oh well.

Not gonna kill him. That's the most basketball he's played in one sitting by a country mile. Looked like a warrior out there. Wondering if he sits both ends of the back to back in a couple games now. Back's gonna be real stiff.

Simmons needs to be way more aggressive

They said at one point in the game he drives more than anyone. There's no way that's true. He was irrelevant out there for stretches, then he'll have a brilliant play

I feel like ever since that Wizards Hack a Ben Game, he's been a lot more inconsistent than before that one.

A warrior?  He looked exhausted.  I wouldn't be surprised if he sat the next few games.

Not a whole lot of defense in this game but fun for scoring.

Of course he looked exhausted. He's 7 feet tall and 260 pounds and he played 49 minutes of basketball with an achy back. Prior to this week, I don't think he played more than 35 minutes in any game ever.

I meant warrior like a heavy weight boxer in the 12th round of a fight or something.

Disappointing. Ben takes 6 shots without Embiid and we have no shooters. I don't get it.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Report: Embiid expected to miss 2 more games, return for Christmas

    by Joe Wolfond 4h ago

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid could be sidelined for the remainder of the week with a sore back, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Sixers close out the week with a home-and-home against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday and Saturday. Embiid, who has missed the last two games and four of the last six, is expected to return for his team's Christmas Day game against the New York Knicks on Monday, sources told Wojnarowski.

The Sixers have been closely monitoring Embiid's workload, never playing him on both ends of back-to-backs and keeping him on a minutes restriction when he played early in the season. But the last two games he appeared in both went to overtime, and Embiid wound up playing 88 combined minutes (including nearly 49 in Friday's triple-OT loss to the Thunder) while laboring with the back issue that's been bothering him since a Dec. 7 game against the Lakers.

If he's able to suit up on Christmas, it will be Embiid's first game at Madison Square Garden. It will also be a much-needed boost to a team that's struggled badly without him. The Sixers are 13-10 this season in games Embiid has played, and 1-6 in those he hasn't. They've been 14.2 points per 100 possessions worse when he isn't on the court.
