I don't applaud her or criticize her. She was understandably upset about the entire situation. Despite the obvious huge moral problem with news networks working for $$$$$$ and ratings during times of human suffering, which I completely get and don't approve of, I don't really think the media there is a totally negative thing (CNN, FOX, whoever - makes no difference; way to turn something EVERY network does into a post against CNN specifically, lol) - That is how help and aid comes flowing in, and how family members know what's happening to victims. Many victims also find telling their story to the news cathartic. It also looks like that poor lady could have easily not walked up to the reporter and/or easily walked away. But with what she's going through, I don't blame her for being pissed and upset about whatever happens to be there to be pissed and upset about. I didn't hear what the reporter said to her, so can't say if it was inappropriate or not... but it sounded from the reaction it may have been along the lines of "how are you feeling" or "what is this like for you" or something, which I don't think is inappropriate or insensitive ....PJPOWER said:

While interviews with survivors does help spread awareness, which will hopefully contribute to donations, help etc, reporters often are very insensitive with their questions. Not just CNN, all of them. I'm glad this interviewee spoke her truth, f-bomb and all.

I agree, all mainstream media outlets drool over these events and CNN just happened to be in the crosshairs here.RunIntoTheRain said:

On a side note, I love how Texans are helping their fellow Texans here. Seeing the lines of boats and people going towards unknown hazards in order to help feed, shelter, and evacuate people that they have never met is truly remarkable. As unfortunate as the disaster is, it is encouraging seeing people helping each other and coming together regardless of race, religion, etc, especially in a time where all you see in the media are people hurting each other.0

Absolutely. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hadn't heard from one of my oldest friends that I grew up with in Houston until about 2am this morning. It's a terrible feeling...if you need anything, let me know.Jason P said:Still haven't heard from my uncle since Saturday.
