    And what I'm trying to get across to you is that while I didn't like Obama's decision, I felt like that was the end of the line. However, 7 days into a new administration (after over a year + of calling for a ban), there's a logical reason to believe that this isn't the end of the line with Trump's actions. I honestly see no limit to how far this man will go here and that's very upsetting.

    I didn't post it in its entirety or name the speaker to avoid bias. The question is do you agree with it or not (ignoring who wrote or delivered it)?

    I would throw our recent presidents in the murderous, ethnic cleansing ignoring, (define madman) suppression of people vs corporations and deny certain faiths (Islam) category too.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day. I want to say that they rushed it out to offset leaks...but it doesn't pass the smell test. Knowing how the President loves acts of theater, I'm sure the element of surprise was part of it by catching everyone off guard.

    I haven't posted here because it's like diving into muddy waters, but I've been reading for a long time.
    I'm just trying to cull out actual facts from the hysteria/knee-jerk reactions.

    Something that confuses me is Obama's travel ban being compared to what Trump just instituted. Reading some of the links here (yours included), Trump is banning all new refugees right? The VWP banned certain individuals from those countries. Am I interpreting this incorrectly?

    It definitely seems like Bannon is running the show now. I don't agree with Priebus on a ton of things, but I've always taken him to have some common sense. My question is, where is Kushner here? I think the actions on Holocaust Remembrance Day probably rubbed him the wrong way.

    I see you don't like Obama here, no surprise. Looking for the Muslim ban part, but that's not the point.

    Even if you were screaming about it then, why not be happy that people are aware of it now and are fighting for your cause?
