There aren't any colored editions, are there?
Why don't you like bull moose? I ve had nothing but positive transactions with them.
I have just had a few problems with orders. I really like Newbury.

I bought DMB Live trax 4 which is a $100 box set. It came with an offset label (there was a pic somehwere above.. very bad). I emailed them and within 5 min they replied saying "we're sending you a new one, you can keep the old one. Sorry about that". I had the new one in two days. I sent the old one to Monkeewrench. It only affected about 5 seconds of playing on one side out of 8 sides. All else being equal, I'll always use Newbury.

Plus their colored vinyl is top notch. My experience is they use the best press in production for theirs. I'm super picky about my records and never buy one if it isn't a material increase over the cd. They have not disappointed me yet.

I've also had great experiences with Newbury. I'm very picky as well.

Picked this one up this week. If you're a fan of Bill, this is an exceptional pressing.

No but Joshua Tree 2007 remaster is back in Stock. I have been looking for a year and suddenly is available. I bought from import_cd today. I have the original press but word is this is much more dynamic.

War... that's the remaster I'm waiting for. The original is muddled but the music is so great. Bullet the Blue Sky should have been on that album. I'm not a U2 expert, but the style seems more in line with War.

But yes, my interest in U2 ends with Achtung. That was a good album but it started the transformation that left me behind. I love political music.

Not specifically a question about this album but more of a question about greatest hits albums. With the material on the album coming from several different recording sessions and several disparate album masters - how can a audiophile album be created like this?

In 1981 they probably cut a hits master from the master tapes. This reissue was probably cut from that hits master. But it is entirely possible they went back to original tapes and redid it from those

Not cheap, but the 20th Anniversary deluxe blue vinyl boxset for Atchung Baby is pretty sweet .... for less than $200.;)

I actually have it, but bought it when it came out for face value, which I think was around $100 or so? I thought it was worth it at the time, apparently. It really is a nice package, but the 3rd and 4th discs are various remixes.... TBH I don't like any of those, really. They're mostly kind of like dance remixes, which to me is almost like a symbol of some of the bad things to come after Achtung Baby. That's why if I had to do it over, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I guess I paid that much because I had collectors' brain that day and wanted some blue vinyl, lol. Plus the actual box is swanky. It's the kind with the magnetic flap, lol.

Hit it on the head with the bold...

Pop, Zoo, etc. that was too different than the U2 I wanted to hear. Achtung was a transition for sure...

Man. Zooropa is one of my favorite U2 albums. I was able to track down a legit original pressing (Its massively bootleged). That being said, I really like electronic music, so those flourishes hit the spot.

I see they pressed the 2 LP Joshua Tree again. How does that sound vs the Original 1 LP pressing. May be worth picking up.
