Dem Party

Since it is no longer about Hillary Clinton, they should be a general thread about the Democratic Party, or lack of democracracy in the party that calls itself democratic.

The top 1% own both parties. It is time the 99% take the party of FDR back. the last liberal president was Jimmy Carter? Richard Nixon? LBJ? Clinton and OBAMA are not FDR democrats they both make Richard Nixon look liberal. the Party of the People for the People must be taken away from the Corp Dems.

Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison is on the top of the list. Will the DNC actually select A Muslim Brotherhood Supporter as Its Chairman?

the democratic party itself is to blame for it's loss in this election, they have pushed it's members to vote republican.

The Democratic Party is done. Like "focus on local elections and build up for the presidency in 2036" done.

They actually got a numbers bump to vote for Sanders, I believe. Why not encourage responsibilty and say people like you voted for trump because in their minds, they made him appealing?

no they did not. even the BernieBros didn't vote for Trump. many didn't vote for Hillary but very few Dems voted for Trump. If the same about of Dems voted for Hillary as Obama she would have won. I hope the Dem party stays the course. we don't need two parties catering to the religious freaks, gun lovers and racists of the world. One is clearly enough.

if you want the Dem Party to stay the same you wont win another election for a long time...Dem party needs a serious revolution and not a Bernie Sanders one either

Wow, that is exactly the same rhetoric that the Republican Party had back in 2008...and they were right.

Employees of an Indiana voter mobilization group with deep ties to the Democratic Party submitted several hundred voter registrations that included false, incomplete or fraudulent information, according to a search warrant unsealed Monday.

About time they protested them. Trump ain't the only victim. Nice to see some put blame on Hillary And Wasserman Schultz instead of neolib Hillarybots who are whining all of a sudden. At least there's Bernie and Jill supporting protestors aren't ridiculous like Silverman.

No, Dr. Dean, Democrats Do Need to Fight It Out
...Bottom line: in the end, Trump didn’t win – the Democrats lost, and they lost because they became the Party of the Oligarchy, not the Party of the people. That has to change.

It's worth listening to, or watching Cornell West on Democracy Now talking about the state of the party. His statement was along the lines of, preaching about moral superiority while privatizing based on who puts money in Democrats' pockets, using the military to resolve crises as a first choice, and suppressing political dissidents shows hypocrisy and portrays a morally bankrupt party. There was much more meaningful detail that I think everyone on here would find interesting and valid.
