Just watched that portion. He was a huge Hillary supporter pre-election, so bad his show became the "support Hillary" show in my household (although, he liked Sanders, just didn't think he had the potential to win). So now he thinks different. Good.

And this uninformed opinion is exactly why none of your opinions matter to me.

Edit: MIS--informed, not UN-informed. I will acknowledge that you seek out information. But you are so completely blinded by your narrow viewpoint that you can't even see facts when they hit you in the face.

Maher had Sanders on his show almost every season leading up to his announcement for presidency. Maher announced his support for Sanders from the beginning of his campaign. Maher hosted Sanders on his show a couple of times during his candidacy and after the primary loss. Maher expressed his disdain for Clinton almost every week during his primary season monologues. When the general election was over, Maher was one of the first to say that it's now finally the time for the Clintons to just disappear.

So what if he he held his nose and backed the Democrats during the general? What the hell else did you expect him to do? The same thing you did -- abstain from voting and throw the election to Trump?

All of these facts about Maher are easily searchable in Google. Declaring whatever you feel conforms to your biased obsession does not make them untrue.
 Like your opinion of ME makes any difference! Good luck trying to piss off the next guy who doesn't share your opinion on things. I didn't even read past your first sentence.

more proof that you have no idea what you are talking about....Maher was a huge Sanders supporter
If you accepted the 2 party reality after the primary, that makes you a shill for Clinton I guess.
    Minus Cenk.
    And Sanders himself.
sure....whoever wasn't Trump (that had a chance) was who I was for

He was so stinky of pushing his Hillary thoughts and urging his viewers to vote for her was enough to get me and several others to stop watching him completely. When Bill Maher turned preacher, that was it.

I am so glad you guys would get riled up about someone like Bill Maher.

Perhaps you should shift that energy into making your party actually BETTER post Hillary (solutions anyone?). Complete turnover, get these guys out and real people that want to turn the party of whimps into a party that fights for the PEOPLE and not what the 1% want. You guys getting angry at someone who disagrees with your POV does nothing for your failed party. Get angry in the right direction.

Perhaps you should shift your energy into improving the attractiveness of YOUR party. I mean.. why do you care so fucking much about our party? I don't see you putting this kind of energy into the Republicans, or the Libertarians, or anyone else. It's fucking bizarre.

And what party am I? Too many people around here think I'm a Republican or Democrat; whatever suits their needs.

I don't know what you are, presumably socialist democrat, but that's really the point. You keep talking about other people's party. Quit wasting your energy. Why do you care??

I have mentioned the party I am more than a few times. Clearly keeping people divisive is more important to so many people and that's why this country is messed up. The labels. Not listening to other people and views. That's the very problem.

Not being part of the two-party system gives me an anyone like me a better perspective on what's going on and what's wrong and how it can be turned around. Try it sometime.

And before you get angry at me and shout back that I am making myself look good, I am not. I am simply saying I am the outside looking in.

See what I mean? The blaming. The labeling. The finger-pointing. You will never get it.

People stopped listening to Hillary and her campaign because her team would not listen to any opinion other than their own. And shut down any other opinions including those of Sanders supporters.

Your party will never get any better with that mindframe. And that's why people are leaving in large numbers from the two-party system.

But allow me to tell you that you are right. That's what you want to hear isn't it? You're right and I'm wrong. And that's how we got Trump is president. Should I personally thank you?

See? You'll never get it. You'll never take the blame that the Clinton campaign is what caused him to win.

The weak candidate caused the worst candidate to win but don't accept that! Don't change the Democratic Party! They are the party of right! What they're doing is correct even when they lose miserably and can't take responsibility for the loss. Don't change a thing! Keep on keeping on And being the party of wimps and the 1%, supporting the big banks and corporations and not the people.

I'll say it again Gambs you're right and the rest of us are wrong because that's what you want to hear and that's all you want to hear. Change nothing which means we'll keep losing. Party of champions.

Oh, I know. These guys guys are right and everyone else is wrong. when you are bent on being divisive and pointing fingers, you don't hear a word anyone else has to say. Oh, yeah.

...and the Dem party will never learn it's lesson, they will never change with the current lofty and arrogant attitude. They are right, we are wrong. It was never about unity, it was about being "with us or against us". So very George Bush like.

You are so right in every way. And that's why you should stop worrying about it. Eventually whatever your political party is will seize control. You are only hurting your own cause by imparting your wisdom on us.

Your party is right. Yet they didn't win. Just keep pointing fingers and not learn from the mistakes.

    Score! You're right again, Free!

    1. Yes, we're wasting our time acknowledging anything you say.

    2. Yes, our party is right.

    3. Yes, we didn't win.

    4. Yes, we are pointing our fingers at people like you.

    5. And yes, I have not learned from my biggest mistake of all -- continuing to engage with you.

So, here goes, oh Mighty Oracle. I'm vowing to learn the best lesson you've taught me . . . I'm done. I'm not visiting this thread any longer. I encourage others to do the same and allow Free to enjoy his monologue with PJFan.

Whatdreams has proven that when pointing fingers doesn't solve problems or make them feel big enough, they leave. Kudos to Dems! Good luck with The future of the Democratic Party. For when you can't have a decent discussion and what they can improve upon without blaming me and anyone who doesn't share their opinion, absolutely nothing will ever get done.

Haven't we all learned this from the election. Perhaps not. We will see if they do any better in 2020.

As someone in the Green Party for 3 years, he's really pissed me off since the dem primaries. I'll still watch for the Trump bashing but I've moved on to Jimmy Dore.
