Got a record player for father s day and so far I ve collected:
    Ten
    Vs
    Vitalogy
    No code
    Yield
    Backspacer
    Lighting bolt
    Vault 3,5, 6 (pending)
    Ditp
    Orpheum
    3/5/98 Melbourne
    Merkin ball
    Into the wild
    Live at third man records

It s been really fun collecting. All I need is vault 4 and live on 2 legs.

I have a sealed 4 but shipping will be pricey:(
Thanks for the offer bud but I m gonna wait on this one. I m not too impressed with the set list so really no sense of urgency to listen to it. I d much rather get live on 2 legs; how much are these going for?
Not interested in binaural, riot act, rvm or lost dogs. Self titled and Uke songs are the only two left i m really interested in.
I just heard weezer is getting reissued! I can't wait to get the blue album and Pinkerton!
You are stronger than most by not getting totally hooked and having to buy it all, nice one. If you are getting the Weezer reissues, go the mofi route. A new blue pressing of the blue album is coming out on mofi but that and Pinkerton get good reviews. Not sure how the Geffen ones will sound so probably worth spending the extra for the mofi copies.

Then it gets really pricey -
Binaural, Riot Act, Avocado, Live on Ten Legs(actually not to bad price wise), Benaroya Hall , Lost Dogs, Rearviewmirror and probably Mirrorball.

Then it's not enough so you'll want -
The Ten picture disc, the white Backspacer, the red Lightning Bolt, the Sevens boxset and the blue Vs.

Then it's still not enough so you'll want -
All the singles then all the fanclub singles.

If it gets really out if control then you'll also want -
    Endless amounts of side projects.

You've been hooked, kiss goodbye to all your money.
Then there's the 12" singles and the 7"singles and the different colored fixer 7" and the Ten 7"sampler set...

Oh and the GITD pj 20...

Then u can get crazy and start buying all the different pressing like EU records...

    Taking notes?!?

That would fall under the "different pressing" category but is solid enough by itself to hold its own section!

    What else did we miss?

Always worth it when reasonably possible IMO. :)

I go out of my way to buy these pressings.
I have mofi copies of the two Weezer albums in question as well as a bunch of classic albums on Mofi. The difference in many cases is incredible especially with high end audio equipment.

Mobile Fidelity really know what they are doing as far as reissues. You could pay up to $15 more but worth it. They did a lot of the Weezer catalogue a few years back. You have to hunt around a bit to find them as they don't stock much on their website but you can get from Amazon etc.
Soundstage direct have the Mofi pressings and 15% off at the moment.

For sure, they all sound really good. Suggestion though: look for older U2 albums in used record stores. There are tons of them, and they are cheap, and plenty are in great condition. No need to pay for the shipping costs (i know you didn't in this case). Pretty sure I got Joshua Tree, The Unforgettable Fire, War, and Rattle and Hum for under $12 CAD each or so in various records stores within the past 4 years, and all play perfectly. And War was only $5 because of some sleeve damage.

Definitely. All older records that were pressed in abundance will be dirt cheap. Should be able to find them in discount racks.
I paid $1 each for all of those records years ago. Should still be able to grab them for a couple dollars each.
