I thought by now I would be tired of looking at the weather forecast, but I´m fooling myself, it´s all I do.... So, up to now, things go from an 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms in the evening and then scattered showers (weather.com) to a 55% chance of rain and occasional showers (accuweather) ... and everything in between. I still hope everybody is awfully wrong
The last weather thing I saw has the highest percentage of rain (92 percent) at 7 p.m. on Saturday (motherfucker!) ... but chances plummet to 32% around 8:30. Which would work if it played out that way, yes?
Of course, it's insane to think the predictions could be that precise four days in advance.
Ha ... now even this has changed in the past two hours. Fuck if I know.
everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do
If the rain comes they run and hide their heads They might as well be dead If the rain comes, if the rain comes
When the sun shines they slip into the shade (when the sun shines down) And sip their lemonade (when the sun shines down) When the sun shines, when the sun shines
Rain, I don't mind Shine, the weather's fine
I can show you that when it starts to rain (when the rain comes down) Everything's the same (when the rain comes down) I can show you, I can show you
Rain, I don't mind Shine, the weather's fine
Can you hear me, that when it rains and shines (when it rains and shines) It's just a state of mind? (when it rains and shines) Can you hear me, can you hear me?
Enjoy all, I was at 2013, long lines , rain, wind, lighting bolts, it did not matter, it was epic.
agreed. it just was obvious they moved mountains in 13.. i just dont think theyd come back out at midnight if all things were equal again this year. if you can tell me it will be the same thing, 7 songs, 3 hour delay and then 2 hours more, i'm in. but in 2013 2.5 hours of those 3 i had a pit in my stomach that a dozen of us flew to chicago to see 7 songs and then go home. i will never forget the elation i felt when we learned they were coming back. it was an amazing gift to us all, and im sure it cost them a lot of $$ too. they obviosuly love us enough to have done what they did in 13 but at some point they are going to have to draw the line from a business perspective.
One good thing about the weather in 2013 is that before and after the 3 hour storm the weather was fine. A little warm early but after the storm it was perfect out and you could even see the stars, Still hoping things an change. Maybe a Sunday morning show

Warning: I'm about to talk completely out of my ass.
I think these guys know the Wrigley shows are an event. I think they know people are traveling far and wide to get there. What's more, I think the WANT to play these shows no matter what it takes.
I believe we're going to see a show Saturday unless somebody other than the band absolutely prohibits it.
Maybe I'm just being hopeful and naive. I dunno.

Wrigley 2013 was an experience, but it did suck that they had to cut the set short, especially because when a set gets cut, it's always the rarities that go (fucking Other Side!?).
They have a buffer for Saturday this time. I think if it's like last time, they would push the show until Sunday. That wasn't an option last time because there was another concert on Sunday.

That's literally why I thought they left the one day gap for both stadium shows when they announced
Have a (less expensive) feasible plan B after 2013's shitshow in summer northeast and Midwest unpredictable weather

I'd be fine with that, but man that would suck for people traveling only for Night One and have to be back to work on Monday. Like the dude attending the first show with me.

No chance of moving it back. I like how people think it's just a quick change on moving the date back one day.

It's not optimal, but I don't see how it's impossible.

Remember gang... It's not the rain or the wind... It's the lightning... If it pisses the whole show, it'll go down as one of the more epic shows Pearl Jam has ever played - like the Ice Bowl in Wisconsin all those years ago
